Has breakaway buckles. Really questionable. But otherwise beautiful & comfy
I'm a bit disappointed with these shoes. They're gorgeous, don't get me wrong! But, (and maybe I'm misinformed,) shouldn't shoes made specifically for dancing be made to hold up to heavy use and stay in one piece, remaining on the foot throughout any routine moves? So why do these shoes have breakaway buckles that released with any slight flexion of the ankles? I honestly have never even seen this type of buckle on shoes before! I'm only familiar with these in conjunction with tear away clothing for things like quick costume changes on live performances, or for strip teases. It is an odd choice for an ankle strap of dance shoes, and I had to give up on the idea of wearing them out on the town as I'd hoped. I was all ready to spend the night breaking them in, so I could do an honest and informed review; instead, I had to stop to re-fasten the ankle straps every 2 to 3 steps! I get crabby when my sneaker laces get untied and I have to keep re-tyimg them; So this was like that, but times ten, because my plans were shot to heck due to it! (Well, mostly. I did dance barefoot awhile)Perhaps things have changed while I wasn't looking during the last 2 or 3 decades? While I was too busy raising my kid and working to be able to keep up with the dance world, did someone think that breakaway straps on dancing shoes would be a good Idea? And if yes, why? Specifically, why did anyone else agree?? I really would like to know. But as to these shoes, while gorgeous on or off the foot while standing still, they don't hold up to the stated intended use.Fortunately, I have a cobbler nearby, oddly enough. He does wonders with my boots, so I think I'll see if he can change the buckles on these for me. That's the only thing preventing my complete enjoyment of these shoes. As an aside, they were very comfortable for the height of the heel on them, and the toe box is roomy without being too big and the instep was just right on this style, at least it was for my feet. The stitching seems durable, while also being invisible where not used as trim. And the heel is just perfect for dancing with or without a partner. It felt like it would hold up to vigoroususage without giving out. I just don't understand the choice made for the ankle straps.

Comfortable, Stylish, and Great for Dancing!
I bought the GYUBL Women’s Ballroom Dance Shoes for my salsa and ballroom classes, and I’m so glad I did! The shoes are lightweight and very comfortable, even after hours of practice. The straps hold my foot securely, so I don’t have to worry about slipping, and the suede sole gives just the right amount of slide and grip on the dance floor. The heel height is perfect—not too high, but still elegant—and I feel stable when turning and spinning. I also love the design; they look sleek and stylish, so they work well for both practice and social dances.Sizing was accurate, and they fit true to size. They also seem well-made for the price, and I expect them to last through many dance nights. If you’re looking for affordable, comfortable, and pretty dance shoes, these are a fantastic option. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced dancers alike!

The beige color is actually gold satin.
I got these to wear with some cute dresses I have and my first impression is they are not beige even though they are advertised as such. The style is cute and they are quite comfortable. However, the bottom is made of suede so they’re probably not great for walking on rough surfaces because you’re feel everything on the ball of your foot. They fit pretty well, but have kind of a weird buckle that I’m not a fan of. They seem to be of pretty decent quality materials but I think they are a little on the pricier side for what you get. All-in-all, I don’t know that I’d get these again.

Oh no no no no no
These are going to be a no for me.I was looking for the color advertised and these are a gross color wanting to be gold. The fit….. I am a 7 1/2 my daughter is an 8. I ordered an 8 and neither of us can wear these. This fits like a 6 1/2 maybe a 7.I can’t tell about the couchioning because it was like swueexing into a Barbie shoe. If I had to guess I would say the cushioning is non existent.Shoe quality I would say not great. It has wrinkles, dents, and fold all over the shoe. So …. If these heels are going to show I wouldn’t recommend. If they are hidden under a dress sure why not.I think these are way to costly for what I received.

Great beginner shoes for dancing
I ordered the beige in a 9 ½…y’all, these are not beige, they are gold! LOL! That aside, these ballroom shoes are very comfortable, true to size and the suede bottoms make it silent when you walk. I do question why the straps are breakaways. That seems kinda unsafe if you are flying over a dance floor. They do flex well at the ball of your feet and the height of the heel is very comfortable. I don’t think they would hold up long if used heavily. However, these would be good beginner ballroom shoes, or something casual to practice in. There are cheaper shoes out there for the same or similar quality, so it depends on what style you want looks wise if you want to spend $37.99 on this pair. The satin finish makes them look kinda cheap, but that would probably change depending on the outfit you paired it with. All in all, I am not disappointed in these shoes or overly impressed with them either.

Quiet Heels for Dance Floors
I reach for these 3 inch heels when I want comfort and style at a party or dance. The flexible fit moves quietly over smooth floors and the stretchy strap slips on fast. I wore them to an indoor event and liked how soft and forgiving they felt, even after hours on my feet. The shiny finish makes them pop in photos, but it may look too glossy if you prefer matte. Indoors these shoes stay comfy and quiet. Outdoors it might be a bit uncomfortable on rough terrain.
