These shoes arrived smashed together in a plastic bag, resulting in the toe of the shoe rippled and the heel of the shoe flattened. No shape at all. I tried one on and had great difficulty. Putting foot into the shoe, the heel flattened and had to use a shoe spoon to pull the heel up. There is an uncomfortable seam up the back of the heel. I was looking for something easier to put on and comfortable with bad knees and swollen legs. This is not it! Reminds me of the cheap hang up shoes at Walmart. One star rating is very generous.

I would not use these for running (and it's not advertised for that); they are just very casual and comfortable for daily wear for non athletic uses. It is soft and comfortable, not tiring on my feet. I like this style of sneakers for casual Fridays at the office.
