Classic style, really warm!
These boots are really nice quality for the price. They're lined and very warm...perfect for winter. I got them because I wanted a more durable alternative to all the other pairs of boots I have which end up having a heel and just being too dressy to run errands. These are the perfect alternative, they're comfortable and warm, the calf is just large enough for me to wear leggings or skinny jeans under them, the sole is sturdy and they're stylish enough to wear out as opposed to my hiking boots or Uggs which seem to be my only other more casual alternative to winter boots that aren't snow boots. I love the biker look that has the right amount of edge I was looking for and surprisingly, they're also lightweight compared to Docs (IYKYK). I can't really comment about the durability yet because it's my first season with them, but they're well made so fingers crossed! Sizing wise, they run true to size with enough room in the foot for adding an insole and wearing with thicker socks (normally I'd think about ordering a half size larger to accommodate my socks and insole, but these are perfect as is.

These boots are made for walking!
I am a die hard combat boot fan. I currently own 3 pairs and have in the past have upwards of 10 pairs. All the boots I have owned where made of leather, chunky sole and VERY hard on the feet. When I ordered the "SLXCHBSL Knee High Boots Women Tall Boots Fall Winter Long Boots 6.5, Black" I was very apprehensive because I didn't want to put my feet through that suffering again.Pros:- Excuse me but these boots are comfortable from the minute you put them on- The zippered back is so helpful, I didn't know I wanted that in boots until now.- You can still lace the front of the boots looser or tighter according to your preference.- The chunky heel is so nice but not too heavy at all.- The interior of the boot is soft and foamy for comfort.- Looks like real leather- The calf area has room so it's definitely suitable for those of us with thicker calvesCons:-The only downside to these boots are the waxed cord laces. I wish they had come with a higher quality cotton lace. These can be easily changed out though.Overall the "SLXCHBSL Knee High Boots Women Tall Boots Fall Winter Long Boots 6.5, Black" where a pleasant surprise. I wore them for 2 nights out in Las Vegas and after walking in them for about 6 miles up and down the strip I barely had any discomfort. They look very modern, add a nice 2 inch height and are not stuffy at all. I also wanted to add that I sized up to a 6.5 but I am usually a 6 wide. So if you have wide feet you might want to go up half a size. 5/5 stars

I like how it looked on the website, and thought oh! Yey cool I always wanted a pair of real rough and tough looking war, military shoes (combat boots). Perhaps , more like the ones that are ankle height, but I thought nice it's boots, with the cold soon approaching, I'll get fun looking use out of these. So, I was aware they had a particular look, a certain style of its own kind, in a catagory of its own fashion sense and statement. Did not expect a soft presence, or anything near feminine looking, nor suitable for an all around style to match for my wardrobe. This being said, I didn't expect it to be as crude and hugely bulky as they seem to appear to me. I knew it was faux leather, but nevertheless, it's just too obvious to me it's a fake leather, which seems to be the case with other boots I've seen lately. Albeit, I respect the trade off from using animal derived products, just for the saving of their lives. But, I feel like, in the past faux leather shoes appeared better looking and not so plasticy. I don't know about the durability factor, for any unatural leathers. I have a decades old perception of them tearing apart and exposing the under belly of the construction and its layers. My mom repeatedly taught me to opt for leather made and especially for the soles of the shoes. I always steer against fake materials, as they sweat your feet, aren't comfortable, nor last long. My experiences are very limited with faux products, for the mentioned reasons.They, felt uncomfortable, it felt like from the ankle it parted into 2 different sectionals on my foot. Because, the back end portion has a built for the heel a sort of spine, a shell that cups around the back end of your 🦶 foot. It's a hard shell that has no give no flexibility to mold pliable to your movements. I've seen females wear such styles, but those seemed somewhat softer these come off much too exaggerated in its coarseness, aggressive boldness. It really hindered the natural motion of taking steps, it's all very restrictive to mobility. My calf got hot and sweaty, clearly due to the particular fabric of materials applied in the interior for its lining. I got my usual size 10, there's much space remaining in the toe box, I may be able to wear a thin pair of socks. It's to the max zipped up over my calf; I don't like how it leaves space in-between my calf and the boot, only in the upper right corner tip, sticking out. Yet, quite tight on the opposite side of my calf. But, the other pairs did the same too, so maybe it's my shape of calves. Idk!I will try to style these up and wear out few times at least. It's too bad they left me down, for being uncomfortable, not of good appearing quality, apparant in its faux/fake leather, heavy to lug around on my feet, exaggeratedky crude in aesthetics, not the best value in its worth.

Laces are for show, but still cute
These boots are awesome! The fit is true to size and they are incredibly comfortable. They are a faux leather, but still very soft and comfortable. The laces on the front do not actually tie/tighten at all as they are just added for the "look". I would have preferred these to be real laces so you can tighten the calf as needed. However, the calf does fit me well and is not too tight nor too loose, but I have bigger calves. They look great with dresses or even with shorts. If the laces aren't a deal breaker for you, I would definitely recommend them.
