Omg I have jellies again. Great for carrying around when you need a rest at 66 years. These keep the fashion goinwhether its dressy or casual. I love that they have a heel and straps that are switchable for front or back. Im a 6 and bought a 6...perfect. not tight they melt and take shape on your feet. Make more colors!!! Getting the gold next.
These jelly heels brought me right back to my childhood. I had a pair almost exactly like this when I was younger and I was so excited to finally find something similar. They look adorable on, very different and unique compared to most shoes out there. The quality feels good and they hold on well once you figure out that you actually slip your foot through the two strips, not just straight in like a slide. Once on, they stay put and give off that fun sparkly clear shoe vibe that makes outfits feel instantly more playful and girly.I love how easy they are to clean because with a clear shoe any little speck shows right away, but a quick rinse fixes it. The downside is that if your feet sweat you’ll slide around inside them and they’re heavier than I expected, especially at the heel. For a style that’s supposed to feel airy and casual, I wish they had made them a little lighter. Still, they do feel durable, so I’m not worried about them breaking easily.Overall, they’re a nostalgic and stylish find that can add a classy but fun twist to outfits. Just don’t leave them out in the heat because they will shrink. These jelly mules are so much cuter in person! I had high hopes for these and maybe I will change my mind but so far I am not impressed. I don’t find them comfortable to wear at all. They flop around far too much. I had major surgery on my ankle a year ago and need to wear shoes that will stay on my feet and not be potential trip hazards. With how unstable these are that what I feel these are, trip hazards. It’s too bad because the jelly does feel nice on the feet. I like the way they look and the pointed toes. The glitter is really cute too. I think if they had a heel or ankle strap they would stay on the feet. That would go a long way toward keeping these shoes stable. I’m disappointed that they don’t work for me as I mentioned I do love the way they look. They also fit well. I wear a size 7. Maybe I will figure out a solution down the road, if I do I will update this.
Overall, I really like these jellies. The only issue for me is that they come with the kind of soles perfect for getting jammed full of small rocks and debris! Remember picking those out with sticks? Frustrate your inner child all over again! Or perhaps this time you can get your kid to do it for you! I do love the design and the versatility of wearing them as slides or slingbacks. They are comfy and mold to your feet quickly. I would suggest sizing up. I usually wear a 7.5, so I went with an 8, and there isn't any wiggle room due to the pointed toe. I will probably wear these at the pool, but if you can recall, these are not the kind of shoes you should do a lot of walking in.
These shoes are so fun and magical. They’re so similar to the jellies princess shoes I bought for my daughter a couple of years ago, only hers had a dysfunctional Velcro strap that wouldn’t stay closed so they were unwearable. Jellies originally came out when I was a kid. I looked up the history just to get a solid sense of how old I was when Jellies first came out. They were originally created in France in 1980 and emerged in the States in 1983. I was 8 when they came out here. They were hugely popular, and pretty much everyone had them.Thinking back, it really seems we were all a lot more homogenized in fashion trends in those days. Guess, Swatch watches, K-Swiss, Coca-Cola clothing, KangaROOS (I was all about the pocket it them), colorful converse, jams, leggings, Units and Multiples mix and match modular clothing, banana clips and scrunchies, scrunchie socks, etc. Oh, and we mustn’t forget Spud MacKenzie tshirts.These shoes are so flexible and they’re a wonderfully soft PVC. The silver and black sparkles, heel and cut-out design are a bit queen-like.. I love the design and the fact that you have a choice of whether or not to use the heel the strap. They’re comfortable and feel supportive. I was worried that the pointed toe would be uncomfortable and squish my toes, but they’re perfect, instead. I haven’t owned a pair of jellies since I was a kid, and one reason I haven’t bought in sooner was it was their comfort levels were pretty hit or miss back then. They frequently cut into your heels and feet and kind of tore them up. These shoes are like the opposite. I can’t wear completely flat shoes so I’m really happy they have heels. They’ll go very well with so many things and they’re a great value at the price point of $11.99 is fantastic!
