These heels completely exceeded my expectations. The heel is listed as three inches, but it wears more like a lower kitten heel. I can walk in them all day without feeling like I need to kick them off, which is rare for pointed toe heels. They give just enough lift to elongate the legs and add a touch of elegance, but without the usual pain or wobble that comes with higher heels.They are also really well made. The construction feels sturdy, with no loose stitching or unsteady parts. The pointed toe shape is flattering and adds that extra polish to any outfit. The black has a soft sheen that gives them a dressy, elevated look without being too glossy or plastic looking. It makes them feel more expensive than they are.They do run a bit narrow at the front, so if you have wide feet, the pointed toe may feel tight. For average width, they hug the foot nicely without pinching or sliding. I wore them to a formal event and never once felt the need to change into flats.
