Great boots they run about 1/2 size small
This is the second pair of KalKal that I have bought for my family. I had forgotten that they tend to run about a 1/2 size small. Other than that they are high quality. They don’t slip easily on wet decks or Algae. 100% waterproof too. Not just for using on boats. They are everyday waterproof boots as they look good too.

Comfortable, Supportive, Nonslip & Cute
My husband works outdoors and swears by his KalKal deck boots for dry feet, so I was excited to see a brighter, cuter set for ladies. I do admit that I thought the “Minty Pop,” color would be pink around the main portion of the shoe, and was a tiny bit bummed it’s more of a light minky beige, but I love the pops of color around the bottoms and backs of the boots. Very retro vibe with these.Pretty colors aside, holy WOW are these comfortable and easy to wear. I have high arches from years of abuse to my feet and the insoles are almost as supportive as my Dankso professional clogs. I have been a die hard lover of Hunter rain boots but honestly? These are more comfortable, more supportive, and way more affordable. The quality of these feels well constructed, thoughtful in the insoles, nonslip soles, and water repellant ankles. They are a bit heavy, not in an uncomfortable way, but rather they feel heavy duty, sturdy and like they’ll last a long while.I am using these as gardening shoes. The ankle length is awesome for crouching down and I don’t feel restricted in the ankle: they’re stretchy and forgiving. I blister easily and have no issues with these rubbing at the backs of my ankles, so that’s a big bonus.These are true to size for me. I am typically a standard size 7, sometimes a 7 wide, a euro size 38, and these fit beautifully with the insoles inside and semi-thick socks. I’d say they almost run a half size wide, just like my feet/toe box. These WILL accommodate a larger foot without the removable insoles, if needed, so sizing is fairly forgiving and flexible with these IMO.Overall? I like them! They’re cute, funky, really comfortable/supportive, and they don’t break the bank. Easy on the go shoes for rainy season, errands, gardening, fishing, and snow.

So Cute & Excellent Traction!
These are perfect for our rainy southern weather. I live on a dirt road and park in my yard. When it rains, mud happens. Loading and unloading groceries or anything in the rain can get messy. These are perfect to keep so I can get into the car in the mornings without ruining my work shoes. They are also great to have in hand for getting the mail as it is a dirt road to walk on. I keep these by the back door so I can run in and out without ruining any other shoes. They have great traction and don't slip and slide. They fit well and are comfortable around my ankles. The hard rubber is lined with neoprene and have a soft top edge that doesn't cut into the skin like regular rubber boots do. These are well made and will last me many, many years of tromping about in the mud and muck. These are also stylish enough to wear to work when I'm going to be moving between buildings as we have puddles that collect and water that runs over our walkways. These don't squeak on the floors at work and they don't slip either. These are well worth the investment in my feet and my safety!
