They fit my 19.5 in calves!!!!!!

Thank god I found a boot that fits! My calves are very large, 19.5 inches. I actually ordered these in the black microfiber first and they barely zipped and were way too tight, even though I should’ve had an extra half inch per the chart. I took a chance and ordered the brown faux leather and they are perfect! I wish there was more consistency across the styles, but I’ll take what I can get at this point. Some of the detail looks slightly lower quality, yet not awful by any means, but I’ll make some concessions where I can finally find a boot that fits and isn’t $300. Hope they stay a good buy after I wear them a few times. They also fit well in the normal width of the shoe. My foot is also wide, so I was worried, but they fit really comfortably so far.

Yes, they are ACTUALLY wide-calf!

FINALLY a wide-calf boot that is in fact truly wide-calf. I listened to some of the other reviewers and ordered 1 size down. For regular shoes I’m normally a size 8-8.5. Occasionally I will get a 9 for extra room depending on the brand. Knee-high boots I normally have to order in 10 because I have huge calves. 18-18.5 inches. I HATE having to order a 10 because they’re always too big in foot area. I am loving the fact that these actually fit all around and I can zip them up with ease. That said, I do wish I had purchased them a half size up for a tad looser fit around the calf for those thick winter socks. I do think with wear and tear these will stretch. The toe area is a bit more rounded than I would have liked. All around I am super satisfied with my purchase.

NOT actually wide calf for 22 inch and above if your shoe size is smaller than 11/12/13

If you're gonna advertise as 'EXTRA WIDE CALF' then you need to be completely transparent. I went through EVERYTHING before I placed this order, measured my calf and was diligent only to get them here and have a complete crash out because YET AGAIN there was false advertising. Only on the actually shoe FIT photo does it show that depending on the SIZE of the shoe depends on the width of the shaft for the boot. Absolutely ridiculous to be honest. My calves are 21 inches and these boots SHOULD have fit according to product details that are grossly inaccurate. They are great looking and feel nice, i even went with a 10.5 because i have a wide foot, they are bigger in the shoe than expected, had i downsized to a 10 the shaft would have been smaller. and to pay over seventy dollars for that?! not worth the money if you ask me. I will be returning them, others need to be extremely vigilant and the sizing information needs to be updated accurately

Flimsy back side

The backside of these boots is a soft, flimsy suede that does not hold it's shape. The boots arrived folded and smooshed into a plastic bag (not a box) and the backs of the boots are all wrinkled. This might not be an issue if you have larger calves that will fill the boots in, but if your calves don't fill them in, they're wrinkly and flimsy looking with fold lines. For reference, my calves are about 15-15.5" around.
