When I ordered these, it was a gamble... There wasn't even a picture displayed, so I wasn't sure of how they were gonna look. I'm really glad that I took the blind chance though cause they're a really nice looking pair of boots! I normally wear a 6/6.5 and base my ordering off of the style and features of the footwear. I went with the 6.5 and it's a good choice for me. They're a little roomy, so I definitely could have gone with a 6... But I currently have thin socks on, so I'm confident that I can comfortably wear thick socks in the colder months without a fitment issue. I don't necessarily have what some would label as wide calves, but they're definitely wider than the average and these boots comfortably go on without feeling too tight. They're quality made, the craftsmanship is solid. They’re also slip resistant… At least while wearing them out in the rain today they gave good traction. My only thing is that some faux leather boots look really good for not being actual leather... With these though, I've been going back and forth if they look "cheap" or if it's just because I know that they're manmade material, lol. I've worn them out in public, so I'm not concerned enough to be judged... I'm just on the fence about the price. As mentioned, they're nicely made... But at the time of this review, the price is $59.99. Other comparable boots are going for anywhere from $30-$40 depending on where you're looking.

Wide Calf. Narrow Foot

These boots are nice enough looking, although they appear taller in the stock photo. The description does say mid calf.My problem with these boots is that they are listed as slouch boots but the "slouch" is not movable if that makes any sense.Next they are extremely wide in the calf as if I was trying to wear someone else's wading boots, yet they were extremely narrow at the base of the foot putting when tryimg them on. I needed these boots to decide if they wanted to be for wide width/wide calf or for regular/regular calf.I also felt like the man-made material was not something that was going to hold up for the long haul. The foot of the boot and the rubber sole felt okay but the calf cover felt like an after thoughtIt might have been better to just stick with a boot or a bootie without the fold over slouch pieceThey are okay if you do not have wide feet and you are okay with a wide calf boot.

This review is for the Ziheels Women’s Fold-Over Slouchy Mid-Calf Boots with Chunky Heel. I decided to try these as a replacement for a well-loved pair, and I’m very glad I did. The material is extremely soft and has a smooth, supple feel. The boots are comfortable right out of the box and have a stable, chunky heel that feels secure when walking. I don’t wear heels often anymore, but these have been easy to adjust to.I’ve been wearing them with tapered jeans tucked in and a simple long-sleeve top and vest—an easy fall outfit that has received several compliments. They pair especially well with denim and casual layers. The boots are warm without being too heavy, and they have provided good traction in light rain. I would avoid wearing them on snow or ice since the sole is fairly smooth.One feature I really appreciate is the fit around the calf. I have a wider calf, and these still pull on comfortably, even with jeans tucked in. No tightness or squeezing.Overall, these boots are stylish, comfortable, and versatile for fall outfits. These are an absolute delight. First of all I love the sludge be concept it's send to you see in the past with 22 shoes but it's never been taken to this extent and it's just absolutely adorable. Also very important this is incredibly insulating with a pair of boots socks inside of these they will keep you twice as warm as any other knee-high or calf boot. Because of the slouching factor it's also much easier to wear boots quite often if you have thicker calves you're forced to get boots like this only they're laced up or have spandex panels or you simply have to forgo them completely or pay for expense alterations with this I would say plus I should not have an issue whatsoever in being able to wear these comfortably without restriction you can also push them down a fair degree and they will stay there if you do really want that additional room. The material is absolutely delicious it is soft it is buttery all I had to do was spraying a little bit of leather protector and I was completely comfy and good to go. do you keep in mind that the soles of shoes are extremely heavy now this does no good craftsmanship but if you're not used to wearing a shoe like this I wouldn't suggest wearing them all day out especially in inclement weather because you are going to be sore just because of how heavy these are. In terms of construction and structure they're very well made there are no loose threads the ceiling is excellent I went in several puddles and stayed completely dry. The color is absolutely gorgeous and these would serve perfectly literally all year round with any outfit these are not going to be consigned to specific seasons I could easily see wearing these in the summertime with a sundress and a cute little hat or the winter with leggings or thermal stockings and a cute sweater dress they lend to everyone's vibes and are a beautiful neutral piece.
