Unsuspected Happiness
I was looking for Saddle Oxfords to dress for the decades. I wanted some that were just like I had when I was a kid. Unfortunately, as with everything these days, they don’t make them like they used to and the quality and comfort was lacking. Luckily, I stumbled upon these and ordered them just in case I wasn’t pleased with the regular Saddle Oxfords. I am so glad I did. I ended up keeping this pair and sending the original lace up Saddle Oxfords back. These were super cute and completed my outfit for the decades. They are also surprisingly comfy. I was shocked to find that I could actually wear these with some current outfits and they look great. I did notice some people complaining about the buckle. It is a little different and takes some getting used to, but in the end I was glad it was made this way instead of a regular buckle. I just hope it lasts a long time without breaking. I recommend these shoes and found myself to be unsuspectedly happy with my purchase.

Nice shoe two wide for a AA foot.
Nice leather shoe even though it's a little stiff, it should loosen up with where. The heel height is perfect 1 in maybe one and a quarter inch high, but it was a little wide in the heel and the width for my narrow foot Even after putting in two doctor show inserts. Sorry I had to return it it's a cute shoe for winter or spring.

Nice-quality leather, cushioned footbed is very comfortable. Good-looking and versatile. I am usually a 7.5 or 8 - ordered the 8, which is perfect.Almost skipped these because of other reviews regarding buckles. Happy I tried anyway- I think the buckle is genius! Once you figure out the little hook, it is much easier and faster than buckling every time I put these on. It is a real, adjustable buckle, and the hook is small and hard to see once on. Very secure. Missing a buckle, the other is on backwards
My father passed away suddenly and I had to head out of town right away. I ordered these dress shoes because I needed them ASAP. Due to the circumstances, I was willing to spend considerably more than I ever do for shoes in order to met all of my specifications AND to get them here FAST! Upon receipt, shoe leather is gorgeous, the insole well cushioned annd ultimately the shoe itself beautifully made - BUT - and this is beyond RIDICULOUS and PICS ARE ATTACHED:ONE SHOE DOES NOT HAVE A BUCKLE and on the opposite shoe, THE BUCKLE IS SEWN TO THE SAME STRAP WHICH YOU WOULD PULL THROUGH THE BUCKLE!!I angrily put them back in the box and tossed them on the floor, quite literally on my way out of the door as I was leaving town. I had to stay out of state so long that I did not get home in time to send the shoes back. So ultimately, I missed my return window and lost any chance for a refund. So what do I do with them now? Hire a cobbler to go find and then attach some matching buckles, I assume…??The only thing more stupid than this situation was the watch I received with the hands that served for “decorative purposes only.”I am SO mad about this!

Wonky Buckle Fastner on this Shoe
This is the cutest shoe for spring; but I don't know what the designer was thinking when they decided to use the buckle fastener for the shoe. It comes in two pieces and takes a little effort to adjust it to fit your foot correctly. It's too bad they didn't go with a normal buckle.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
Initially I was happy to get these shoes. Upon taking them out of the box, I saw I needed to attach the buckles to the rest of the shoes. I was kinda irritated but I did it. I wore them around the house to break them in. I wore them to go out. Upon leaving the restaurant, I noticed the strap had broken I WANT A REFUND
