Adorable, comfy, and nostalgic!
I absolutely love these jelly flats. I had some almost exactly like this in high school, and wore them for several years until they fell apart. I was reminiscing about them at the start of this summer, and had the thought, "I wonder if I can find any shoes like that now?" Enter trusty Amazon, and a simple search for "jelly shoes" brought these to my attention. After reading the reviews, I decided to try my luck. They arrived within a couple of days. When I tried them on, I was so relieved that the fit was perfect (I am a true size 10 in women's shoes), they looked identical to the picture in the listing, and they were very comfortable, like a second skin. Ever after hours of wear, there's no uncomfortable rubbing of the plastic on my skin like with some plastic shoes, they don't make my feet stink uncontrollably, even in the summer heat, and they have a cushy insole that makes wearing them all the more pleasant. I get compliments every time I wear these, and they go with so many different styles of outfits in my wardrobe. My mother calls them my "fairy princess shoes", haha! Highly recommend!

Smelly but comfy
They arrive smelling like plastic to the extreme. I soaked them in baking soda and water to remedy this. They are super cute and comfy

I’m a size 8 and got the 8 and 1/2 as there wasn’t any other option. It fits almost perfectly just a smidge big. Maybe soaking them in hot water will make them shrink a little and be a perfect fit. I was hesitant because of all the reviews about the smell. Yes it smells like plastic but only if you stick it up to your nose, well that’s how mine are at least. The way people were talking I was preparing for my entire house to smell. The soles are thin so I wouldn’t plan on an all day outing. Otherwise a cute shoe.

These are the smelliest things I’ve ever owned.
I bought jellies very similar to these for my wedding years ago, & I decided to grab a pair to wear at my cousin’s wedding (they’re great dancin shoes). They fit perfectly, but good lord do they stink. I received them about a month ago, & they’re still stinkin’ up the place. They’re super cute, & comfy for what they are, but definitely give yourself a few months’ time to let them air out before you wear them anywhere.
