The calf is still a little wide, but I have thin calves so that’s understandable. I’m 5’2”, and they hit right at knee height. They were so comfortable—I walked in them all day at the pumpkin patch and even did a 3.5-mile maze! Definitely recommend!

runs a bit small in the foot only

Entire boot is a nice weight material, fits like a boot and not like a spandex glove. Zipper is clean and easy to use. Block heel is comfortable and the right height for most shoe sizes. The toe box however does run small. I am an average size 6 and my foot is squeezed more than normal. if you have narrow feet, you might be ok with your standard size. if you have average width, size up. If I purchased again, I would go from a 6 to a 6.5. The toe is more square than I would normally wear and its giving a masculine vibe . But that is purely personal preference. If you like a square toe over a round or pointed one, then this will be an option for you.
