I give this four stars because my calves have gotten way smaller but you have to have like really skinny calves I still could fit into them and I went with a 6 and 1/2 and if your foot is smaller and your ankle is small mine are both. You might want to go down a size or two next time.I'm going to get a size 6 and see if that's better I still love these it's just they scrunch up at the bottom no matter how hard I tug them up and I've got skinny leggings on and socks. But just a heads up otherwise they're great.

I wore them recently on a rainy errand day, and they didn’t become tight with swelling or loosen around my calf.* support — they’re sturdy with a good, almost cushy sole, and after a half day of running around they were still comfortable!* traction — I wore these in Oregon rain, and there wasn’t a time I felt like I was sliding going from outside rain to inside stores.CONS:* some with wider calves may find they don’t stretch quite enough, and I wouldn’t recommend them for muscular calves at all.* they do want to bunch around my ankles, but that’s fixed if I remember to bunch my socks down to match.
