Nice quality, stylish looking faux leather boots

This is a stylish looking pair of faux leather boots. They're well made, with a quality zipper that seems sturdy and slides easily. They fit well, and true to size, or maybe a smidge on the smaller size; I wear a 9-9.5, got a 9.5, and it fits fine. The calf is sized well, not too tight over my average sized calves...but not so loose that it looks noticeably large. I'm 5'6" and these boots come just up to the bottom of my knee in the front, and a bit lower in the back. The buckle detailing adds to the nice look of the boot. The faux leather is a bit on the shiny side...it won't be fooling anyone into thinking that it's real leather...but I think this shininess will tone down with a bit more wear.As far as comfort goes, I find these to be pretty average. While they aren't uncomfortable, I probably wouldn't wear them when I'll be doing a good deal of walking, because they're more stylish than they are comfortable...the soles are a bit on the hard side without padding. I'm planning to add a thin insole to see if that increases their comfort a bit.Overall, I'm pleased with both the look and quality of these boots, and find them versatile to go with a number of different looks. At $49.99, in my opinion they offer a fairly good value for the money, as well.

Vinyl is very cheap-looking

These boots just don't do it for me. First of all, the material they are made of feels like cheap vinyl. It is smooth and slick and just screams "plastic". The calf is VERY wide, and there is a fabric panel in the back of the boot (microfiber, maybe?) that really has no explanation. It's not stretchy so doesn't aid in the fit of the boot. Now that I look at the pictures again, I see that the boots are also wide on the legs of the models in the photos. Boot is true to size for the most part, but there is not really any arch support. Because of the plastic material, your foot may get hot and sweaty since the material can't breathe. I will say that I really like the color!Even though I thought it had a lot of potential, this boot is a big no for me.
