Comfortable shoes good for practice or dancing around the house

These dance shoes feel really nice on the floor. The suede soles give just enough grip so you do not slide around, while still letting you turn and pivot smoothly.If you have never worn this type of shoe before, the heel might feel a little strange at first. You can really feel when your weight is on it. That is actually helpful when you are learning, because so many steps involve shifting your weight from heel to toe. Being able to sense that clearly makes a big difference.These are good shoes for practice and just dancing for fun in the house. I have hardwood floors and these glide across them without slipping. I found them good for some Latin dances that I know as well as East Coast and West Coast Swing.They are comfortable, light, and they do not squeeze your feet. I ordered a 7.5 and the fit was good both barefoot and with stockings. If I was going to wear these with socks, I would go a size up. Compared to my other shoes, I think these run a little small.
