These shoes are very comfortable. I wear 8.5 WW and ordered a 9. I did have to stretch the ream of the opening that is not lether but other than that these are super soft. I end up ordering one for my mother.
Holy cr*p these shoes are comfortable!We're talking straight out of the package feeling like I've spent months breaking them in.The leather is some of the most supple I've ever experienced in a shoe. It easily rivals some of my handmade Italian leather shoes that cost 4 (and more) times what these do. The sole/wedge on these looks a bit like wood but it flexes like nothing I've seen in a sole this thick. It's supportive but also somehow spongey. It puts a spring in my step.I love the green color and the little leather detail on the top of the toe that looks like a bow or flower at first glance. Then there's the obvious stitching which is a decorative detail that helps make these look like handcrafted, custom fitted, artisan shoes.I'm usually between an 8.5 and 9 in shoes depending on how they're made so I went with the 8.5 which fits perfectly.I almost never wear anything close toed because I can't handle any pressure on them after years of being bound up in dance shoes. I have a fair number of foot related issues that greatly effect what I put on my feet. I only ordered these because they looked so cute and I figured I could pass them on to my daughter if I couldn't wear them, but they're mine all mine.I've already added them in two additional colors to my shopping cart.I can't remember the last time a pair of shoes came out of the package feeling like they were made for me.Seriously, they're like a love letter to my feet.
These wedges are exactly what I was looking for, I need just a bit of a heel (1 - 1 1/2") but an overall comfortable and easy to wear shoe and this pair fit the bill for me. I love the little added details that make these shoes feel a bit more feminine and youthful in comparison to other options I've seen that have a distinctive "orthopedic shoe" style. The upper material is soft, forms well to my foot, and doesn't have any pressure or rubbing points for me. (TIP: follow the sizing recommendations in the long description for these shoes - if you have a taller or wider than average foot, size up!) I can't really tell if the material is actually genuine leather, but it feels like an unlined calfskin type material. Due to that, these aren't what I would consider "slip-on" shoes since the back heel-area of the material easily folds and compresses underfoot. It's definitely necessary to use your finger or a shoe horn when putting these on. The insole of the shoe is soft, and a little padded, but not very thick; I can very much feel the consistency of the underlying sole which itself it a bit squishy. Every few steps or so, the heel of shoe will compress a bit too much for my liking and make me feel a little unsteady. These shoes are just fine for light wear, but I would be hesitant to use them on days where I'm going to be walking/standing a lot.
I love these for the style, material and color fade touches. I wear a 8.5 usually and ordered that size for these. I also love the wedge. These help my pants hang nicely without dragging the cuff. The leather of these really sing. It is a very nice color finish and soft and flexibly also, and gives them a durability other materials don't have. I personally think they are stinkin adorable. My only concern is my big toe is a bit tight on one foot but I have worn them all day without a problem and expect the leather will adjust to my fit better over time. I don't think sizing up is super necassary as the fit is comfortable ecerywhere else.
I have been looking for a shoe exactly like this for over a year now--kind of a ballet flat style, but with a little bit of a lift (I'm 5'2", I'll take what I can get), and of course, comfortable enough to walk in all day, I ordered these on a whim, but when they arrived it felt like fate. These are much better than I expected.The leather is soft and is a beautiful dark olive color. The toe box is wide enough to not pinch, which is saying a lot because I have kind of a duck foot with a wide toe box but not a wide heel/ankle. The material at the back of the ankle is thin and non-rubbing, which to me is almost a miracle because most flat-style shoes rub there and give me blisters. The insoles are like walking on clouds, and the outsole is super flexible and almost springy, making these comfortable even for walking around all day.Honestly I'm shocked at getting such a quality pair of shoes at this price.I ordered my true size 7 and it is a perfect fit.
I wasn't sure I liked the design of these shoes when I first saw them but when I put them on I immediately liked them a lot. The toe box is roomy and more squared off than I thought which is a good shape for my feet. They have really good soles that are slip resistant. They have an amazing amount of cushioning that makes them really comfortable. I also have trouble with shoes slipping off my heals but the way they are constructed keeps them securely on my feet. They come in several different colors so you can get what you need. Normally I can't wear heals but these shoes do no feel like they have a heel at all. A good price for a great pair of casual shoes that could also be worn for dress up.
Comfy!!! I don't know why I picked this color 🫠 after putting them on they look like I stuck my feet into a couple of wrinkly green beans 👀 BUT they are very very comfortable....Just ugly as heck...not quite what I expected. The material appears wrinkled and feels very synthetic...but if I needed a pair of ugly shoes to go check the mail...? These will do. Good value for the money, size was spot on, lots of room for wide feet.
