There were no reviews yet for these shoes, so they were a shot in the dark for me. I have wide feet plus bunions and normally wear a size 7W or 7WW or EU 37. As you might imagine, finding shoes that fit is no picnic. From the ad's photos, it looked like these had a wide toe box and, indeed, they have a very generously sized toe box. There's plenty of room in the foot bed for my wide feet, and the flexible canvas makes them even roomier. I went with Amazon's recommendation of size 7 (which for this brand is an EU 38); but my advice would be to use the manufacturer's excellent guide and go by your actual foot length. I could have sized down to a US 6, EU37. That said, I wouldn't say the 7 is overly large (though it would fit more snugly if I wore a 7.5). Normally, I remove stars for a mismatch between product description and the actual product even if I really like the product, and I'm doing that here. The ad says that these mules have a "sock-like" fit and "built-in arch support." There is no arch support, so if that's what you need, you'll be disappointed. (I've included a photo of the inside of the shoe.) "Sock-like fit" suggests that they are snug on the foot. They are not (there are stretch fabric shoes on the market that really are "sock-like"). These have the fit of a loose slipper, so I don't think there's anything about them that would "promote proper foot alignment." What these shoes do have is casual, cushioned comfort for wide feet. There's a lot of give in the foot bed and sole, which makes them very pleasant to walk in. Despite their generous width, they don't look like boats on my feet; I think that's because of the slimming design on the fabric. I very much like the idea of having a pair of super comfortable, easy-on shoes for everyday errands and casual social events. The manufacturers' did a good job of not overselling the uses of these shoes. All in all, I'd highly recommend these for anyone who wants to make their wide feet happy.
The shoes are ugly and uncomfortable for me. The fabric is rough, and they're not light enough for everyday wear around the house of walking out door. I gave them to my husband to wear at night when no one will see him walking with the shoes . He doesn't like them either but he will wear he said so they don’t get through away. Also they sent in the wrong size, Iate delivery.
Very, very comfortable, easy to wash. I put them in the washing machine and they came out intact! I ordered them for my 80-year-old mother-in-law with Alzheimer's. She finds them very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. They don't hurt her feet. They're soft and have a nice design and style, fit perfect
My feet are very narrow, but I see from other reviewers that they had the exact same experience with these shoes that I did - the fit is NOT good. These shoes are VERY wide and the fit is very sloppy, I can't wear them at all because my feet are so loose in them that I will trip and fall. :- ( Very disappointing
$30 for what’s essentially a slipper? Ummm, not so much. But then I slipped into these mesh mule sneakers and realized, they’re slipper adjacent. They’ve got the cushioned sole of a sneaker, the breezy slip-on vibe of a house shoe, and enough support I don’t feel guilty wearing them outside the front door. Perfect for pet walks, garden walks or running out to grab a coffee while pretending I put actual effort into footwear.Do I still think it’s a little wild to pay this much for a slipper? Yes. Do I still wear them because they’re ridiculously easy and comfy? Also, yes. Convenience over logic.SO, I am branding them as my TRAVEL SHOE FOR AIRPORT SECURITY. Yeah, that's why I selected these "shoes" (wink wink)BUYER TIP: I normally wear an 8.5 and should’ve gone with an 8 so my heel would sit more snugly. Size down for that perfect fit.
These slipper-sock-shoes are BAD. I can’t find anything great about them, and normally I can point out something nice. I was seeing reviewers talk about them feeling narrow or not fitting right, so I sized up half a size. Normally I wear an 8.5 in sneakers (Brooks, New balance, Vans, Nike, etc). I ordered tan in 9. They looked warped and misshapen as soon as I opened them, so I stuffed them with socks for a whole day to try and make them look less wonky. Didn’t work. The toes are still puckered and the top is wavy & loose fitting. I have a good inch in the back and half an inch of space on the top of my foot. Even an 8-8.5 would fit loosely I think. I have wide feet & high arches. The arch support is in the wrong spot and feels hard. The color is too yellow and looks yucky. Plus the insert inside isn’t glued down on the edges, so it lifts so much that I’m stepping on the edge while I walk.Just NO for me.
