Cushioning and spacious for my toes
Absolutely love these shoes. I wear them all the time. I have flat, wide feet and they fit nicely and give my toes room to wiggle around. They have actually reduced the number of ingrown toenails I get, because my feet are now not so scrunched up in my shoes.I wish I could find some that are more winter appropriate.

For wide feet
Now i know why these are called barefoot walking shoes... its because there's no padding or arch support. They are made for extra wide or chunky feet. They are made of a breathable fabric and have the tightening string thing on top of the shoe. They are priced reasonably and seem to be on good quality.

Lightweight and Flexible
These shoes are made with nice quality materials and are a great shoe to wear for hiking, swimming, camping, and outdoor activities. The shoes have a nice amount of cushion and support. They're able to protect my feet from sharp rocks, thorns, sticks, and other debris that I come across on my hikes and at my trips to the lake. Even though they offer protection like a shoe would, they don't feel like a regular heavy sneaker would. They're very lightweight and natural feeling to wear. The shoes have a non-tying lace that can be tightened if needed to make the shoe snugger. They're easy to get on and off, don't slide around on my feet, and are very flexible for active climbing, walking, hiking, etc. I don't have to worry about my laces coming untied during activities. Even though they are snug, so that my feet don't slide around in them, they offer plenty of room for my feet and toes to move how they need to. My feet and toes don't feel squished in them and move naturally. The outside sole offers a great amount of traction. We just took a week-long trip where we did a hike each day. The hikes were across creeks, rivers, slippery rocks, and even waterfalls. Some of the hikes were pretty treacherous and I never once slipped or lost my footing. They protected my feet from getting cut by rocks, sticks, or jabbed by thorns. They were also very cool, could easily handle the water, and dried fairly quickly after I took them off.The only reason I didn't rate these a full 5 stars is because on the last day of the hike, we crossed a river that had some sand. The shoes kept out all the small gravel stuff, but it didn't keep 100 percent of the sand out of my shoe. This allowed some of it to rub against my pinky toe and cause a blister before I could stop some place and get it all out. I'm not sure if it was due to me not tightening the lace enough, or the shoe just flexing as I walked through the river. It only has happened once the entire time I've worn these shoes, so I'm still very satisfied and will definitely continue to wear them on my adventures.Overall, a very nice shoe for outdoor activities where your feet may get wet and/or muddy. They protect against the elements, while remaining lightweight and quick drying. I would recommend these shoes to others as they're nice quality for the price.
