This is my second pair! These hiking sneakers are THE BEST I’ve ever owned. Structure, comfort, fit. I bought up a half size from usual size because when hiking, feet swell. Cannot say enough about these hiking sneakers!
Tried them on at home — super comfy and well-cushioned! Bought for my Alaska cruise and they feel perfect for walking and light hiking. Great fit, supportive, and waterproof. Looking forward to using them on the trip!
My wife ordered these for herself for an upcoming trip. She is thrilled with them right out of the box. True to size, ample toe box room, good fit all around, especially in the heel, sturdy construction and nice appearance. She had been worried about the comments about being too heavy and stiff, but she finds them far lighter than and not stiff like her Keens that she has for heavy duty hiking. The Merrells are perfect for her for less strenuous hikes and being out and about. Very pleased with this purchase.
They're a Good looking rugged shoe. Waterproof..Nice and wide enough for toes so they're not scrunched...So far pretty comfortable.. Gotta break in.. see once I have them longer...
Didn’t even break these in before our 2-week hiking trip in Norway and they fit like a glove. I’ve always worn Columbia hiking shoes but think I’ll switch to Merrells now—no blistering, pretty waterproof, and incredible traction on gravel and slippery rock. Sooo worth the money!

Love these hikers! In the past, I was never much of a Merrell hiker shoe fan since I didn't find them comfortable. But these are amazingly comfortable, well made with Vibram soles, and light on my feet! I did replace the insert with a $20 plantar fasciitis insert from Amazon, since I have a high arch & the insert the shoe came with is okay, but not quite high enough & not cushy enough for my feet. I just spent a long weekend hiking many miles in the mountains and my feet never got sore. That is a first! Think I will order a second pair soon.
