They are very comfortable but they are definitely not orthopedic shoes as the sole is more on the thinner side and doesn't feel supportive to stand/walk in all day. It is lightweight, easy on, easy off with the adjustable velcro strap. The fit is true to size and it is really neat on the feet.
THe Women's orthopedic walking shoes arrived quickly, were packaged as expected, and undamaged. The walking shoes are very comfortable, to my surprise! I wore these all summer without socks when I went around my 3 acres of yard to water all the flowers and shrubs. Since they are breathable mesh, they are waterproof as well and it was better to have the strap then walk around with my feet slipping inside a plain slide. The shoes fit true to size. The shoes are extremely felxible and the quality is above average.
I bought the Women’s Orthopedic Walking Nurse Shoes in black, size 10, and found that they run a bit big—going down a half size would likely be a better fit. The shoes are lightweight, breathable, and very comfortable to wear for long periods. They provide good support and stability, which makes them an excellent option for everyday use. These are a great choice for a 70+ year old woman who wants something casual yet presentable.
These orthopedic shoes are made of cheap material. It's very hard and plastic. It doesn’t feel comfortable at all. I do not recommend.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that these shoes actually fit me fairly well. My feet are wide, and I typically struggle with shoes that are not available in a wide width. But I find these are easy to put on (though not slip-ons), easy to adjust the strap, and are comfortable to wear for short periods. They are very light weight, which is nice. That said, they offer no support at all in the arch, they are very flat. There is some moderate cushioning, from thin insoles that pop out easily when I remove the shoes. They look cute without socks, but I am not sure how long I can wear them this way. The post photos make the soles look chunkier than they actually are. I believe advertising these as orthopedic shoes is stretching the truth a bit, as is referring to them as nurse's shoes. These would never make it through a 12-hour shift for me. For casual, short-term wear, they are fine; but I couldn't use them as walking shoes. I wore them to our favorite big-box store, and barely made it through that and back home again. I was relieved to remove them and put on something sturdier and more comfortable. I am torn on the issue of price. $36.99 (as of this writing) is a good price for most shoes, and certainly for something billed as orthopedic or nurse quality. Since that type of quality is not present, I feel the price is just okay, not remarkable. I will see how much wear I can get out of these in coming months, and edit my review.
Here is a pair of women's casual sneakers. They are comfortable orthopedic walking shoes. They are part leather and part rubber in construction. The breathable mesh with solid non-slip soles makes them comfortable and safe to walk in. These could also be used by nurses or health care workers for walking in. There is a velcro upper ankle strap to tighten them. The uppers are made of leather and mesh. The soles are made of rubber. The insole foot area is orthopedic cushioned to releive foot pressure and increase comfort. So, they are comfortable, supportive shoes great for someone who walks a lot. They are lightweight and airy because of the mesh. They also will fit a wider foot, okay. They good for wearing barefoot without socks. The pink toes and soles contrast nicely with the gray color, making them attractive.
Extremely lightweight and comfortable. Easy to put on. I bought to wear on the garden and they hold up to water and mud well. Easy to clean. Remind me a bit of river shoes without actually being river shoes. True to size but if uncertain or your feet tend to swell, size up, I've been wearing comfortably without socks.
