Comfortable and true to size stretch canvas half dance shoe
These half foot dance shoes are a good value and I'd say pretty true to sizeI am a W size 10 and these are quite comfortable; actually more comfortable than I imagined they'd be.I got them to do some ballet barre at my home gym and was hoping the sole would be more slippery than my bare foot on my rubber mat. They're not super slippery but they do feel really good on and will probably work better on a less "sticky" surface for turning and sliding the foot.At 16.99 they're not cheap but they are a lot less expensive than some of the name brands and are crafted and sewn well and definitely have a L and a R side (glad).I'd recommend these for sureComfort and some protection and style for a semi barefoot workout of any kind.

Nice quality - careful with size
These half sole dance shoes have been a great find. They are made of a quality canvas material and they are comfortable to wear. The size is a bit snug, but not uncomfortably so and my dancer's feet aren't growing anymore, so she'll be able to wear them long term. The elastic straps keep the shoe securely in place and they get the job done for a great price. Order your size carefully, but I think they are a quality dance shoe for a quality price.

Looks promising
Nice shoe for lyrical. My daughter had a favorite turner shoe, that held up well, and felt good. The material changed and she is ripping through her shoe within a few practices. We decided to try canvas for practice instead, and the last shoe we got in canvas held up better, so we decided to give these a try. They look well constructed, elastic, canvas, soles and stitching all look good. Slightly more padding on the sole than she is used to. Will update if these don't hold up, but they do look like they should, and the price point is good

Run small.
These lyrical shoes are a really nice quality and seem like they'd hold up well. However, they run about a size smaller than I expected and don't fit my daughter. They're too tight on her feet and small. I do like the double straps, though. It would be very secure on her foot.

Go Up A Size of Two
I got this for my daughter for her lyrical class, after two days of practice in them, she says it’s too tight. To all my dance moms, dads, and friends….go up a size or two for your child/children’s comfort.

Great quality!
We always size up in turners for our petite dancers to help with the tightness they aren't used to. These turners are very well made. Excellent quality and value.

Sizing is slightly off
I wear adult size 5.5 in most shoes. Based on my experiences, I can take size 6 in girls’ dance shoes. Unfortunately in this case, size 5-7 was slightly tight. Too bad since these shoes would have been great for my routines.I have narrow feet so not sure a wide 7 would have worked. The quality and price are on par with dance shoes.
