Very nice quality leather sandals but sizing runs large
These sandals are about a size too big for my feet. My shoe size is an 8 to 8.5; it seems whether it is an American size, or European size, there is no consistency. So I usually order a 8.5 not wanting a shoe that is too small. So I had to do some modifications to make these sandals fit. I used heal inserts, and toe inserts now they fit a lot better. The top part is loose and does not conform tight to your feet because they have no shoe ties, or straps.Other than that they are very stylish. The quality of the sandals is 4 stars. The leather is very soft. They have really nice hand-stitching. The memory foam insoles are very comfortable. The rubber soles are not cushioning. These are not one of my favorite shoes but worth the modifications of heal and toe inserts.If you are looking to buy these sandals you might want to size down a half size to a whole size. They are really nice if you can get the right size.

if by orthopedic they mean large, then yeah. Also, they have a wide toe box. And the insides are smooth. But that’s about it as far as orthopedic goes, as they do not have arch support nor heal stabilizer. And they’re not adjustable. Meaning, there are no straps, buckles nor strings to give them a supportive/secure fit. And the cushioning is minimal at best. If they had labeled these as just beach shoes or basically anything other than orthopedic, it would have been better. Just call a spade a spade. Because for what they are, the perfectly good shoes. I like the style and would wear them. Although then there’s the other problem, which is that they run super big. I ordered an 8, which is my usual size, but these seem maybe a 10?? (see my pic of toes in relation to end of shoe)

Pretty but not very comfortable
They look nice, but I hope they get more comfortable with wear. The fit is WAY loose and I think maybe order a size down. The quality is good, though, the leather is decent quality but the soles feel cheap. I wouldn't be able to wear these for a long period. The tread is nice, but the loose fit rubs blisters with the friction.

Nice design but not as described
These indeed are real leather and the design is cute. But they are are most certainly not "orthopedic". The soles are thin and not supportive. They are sized too large. I normally wear a 8.5M these days but sized down to an 8 and they were still too big in the heels. Although the stitching looks ok, I feel they are cheaply made and definitely not worth what they cost. I am bummed about these as I would have loved a pair of truly supportive, or at least well fitting shoes of this type. I will wear them occasionally but only for a short time. If they were better fitting and thicker in the soles, they'd be great shoes. I am struggling with scoring these as they do have some cute features, but went for 2 stars as they are not as described...not orthopedic and no "memory foam".

These are heaven for the feet

Not true to size…too big
These sandals are very well made. The leather outsole is a very supple and soft leather that stretches and is bendable. Very comfortable on the foot. The insole is a soft cushiony surface that’s comfy to stand on. The rubber outsole is thick but very bendy. (Is that a word?)The color is a matte black that could almost pass for dark navy blue. The style and pattern look really nice.The problem is the size. I wear a size 8 so I ordered an 8. The length of my foot fits perfectly however the rest of the shoe is loose. My heel comes out of the back when walking and the “roof” of the shoe (where the tongue would be) is very loose. I’m not sure ordering a size down would work as the length fits perfect.
