I wor sneakers to ballroom dance lessons. I discovered those are not the ideal footwear to do a 270 degree spin on a swing dance.These t- strap shoes have a classic quality. I wanted a round toe, not too tall heel, and not too fancy. The closure is secure and the holes weren't difficult to push the bar through.The foot bed has a little bit of padding so it is comfortable to stand on.Usually American made shoes have a mark inside the shoe showing the materials and size. The only materials list is on the box which says it's made in China and that the sole is rubber, with no mention of leather. I can't tell if it's a leather upper or synthetic. I wear a 6.5 and the 6.5 fits perfectly. I like them !
