Cute Flip Flops!
I love these flip flops! They are comfortable, padded, and feel durable and high-quality. They also are not too skinny, and have a good fit for those with wide feet. True to size.

Decent, better than a lot, still flip flops
These are my current favorite pair of my hands-free summer shoes. I don't LOVE any of my options though. They fit snugger against my feet than the other flops of the same style I ordered from another listing at the same time, so major points for these due to that. My feet are scrawny little shrimpy feet that have no fat on them at all and they almost never stay securely in any slip on shoes and I constantly am having my flops or sandals popping off on accident, slipping down to the side of my foot if I step weird at all, or just falling apart too easily with one hard step into muddy, clayey riverbed slime that engulfs your entire feet sometimes and is a major cause of casualties for durable, secure, pro-adventure, easy and quick to get on and off without hands, water-resistant summer shoes like I need. This pair has stood up to a couple of river slime-mud engulfments already, without the straps becoming disconnected, lose, or even stretching out at all (like the other unrelated but similar style pair I ordered at the same time did and now they're a huge safety hazard if I wear those down steps or step too fast without considering my stupid flipflops potentially abandoning my feet if I don't consciously keep them on with every step, and we should not even talk about what happened when I had on my other, now-stretched straps pair I happened to have on when an improv game of badminton happened and I needed to quickly and without inhibition pivot on a foot or two, go in any direction very quickly to reach the shuttlecock, and all that with some intrusive large objects nearby. It was a broken foot in the making, had I not given up for the time being because my badminton skills were so undermined by my not even bad but slightly stretched straps pair of newish flops that these ones were the competition for. These ones are absolutely the winners so far, in both appearance, comfort, and durability - not to mention safety for my scrawny little bony feet. The straps are made of a thicker, reinforced, pleated cloth with extra seems sewed into them down the entire length to prevent stretching and wear from things like river mud foot traps, apparently. The straps are very securely attached to the central tong piece, and I'm confident these will go on to survive awhile longer. They're also just plain pretty. I don't think I've had dark sole flops before with a rich purple background and pale pink, pale purple, and white floral print and I wouldn't have sought them out I don't think, but they're always surprisingly pleasant to see when I'm slipping them on and the soles don't show dirt and don't make my feet appear dirty like the staining done to white or cream colored flop soles (like the other pair I got) after even one traipse through a dew-coated grassy knoll. The dark soles on these, whole not looking dirty, do seem to have faded or maybe they're just looking sort of muted in color by some dust they've picked up. The soles are solid grey, comfortable, thick enough to not feel the spikey metal steps through (like the Croc-style clogs do, which quickly wear thin on the bottoms from any aggressive use or extra adventurous day in them and they become huge liabilities for spikey step sensations felt through the bottom foam, risk of penetration by sharp enough sticks or stones or unfortunately fishing hooks that may find their way on the ground around the clog shoes. I have had a sharp stick completely penetrate my clogs at one normal-pressure step on a softish, dry riverbed and actually penetrate pretty deeply into my actual foot in that one step.) These flops are clearly not going to lose the foam padded soles protection nearly as quickly, maybe if at all! One can hope. The very very lightweight material of the soles of these flops, however, even if their durability goes above and beyond, presents one annoyance from about second use, I've found. The lightweightness of the soles plus the design of the flops (and pretty much all flops) lead to a consistent flipping sound, that usual cheap-flops material flipping against hard grounds and squeaking off glossy store floors with every step. I'm not a huge fan of that. I don't mind it while I'm hiking, boarding a vessel, launching a kayak, or out in the woods where the flipping sound is absorbed into the dense nature surrounding me more and I don't notice it. But running into the house with only hard wood floors or vinyl flooring late at night and trying to be quiet as to not awaken anyone or have my steps echo through the whole neighborhood is an impossibility. There isn't really an option for a snapping-noise free quick jog into another room wearing these without some degree of snapping/flipping. If they stayed somehow flush with the foot throughout each step and stride instead of the ball of the foot bearing the pressure of the whole step and stride process, the soles would likely stay closer to the sole of your own foot much better and they could possibly "ride along your foot" when your foot is lifted without the space created between the foot sole and the shoe sole with each step that ultimately leads to that snapping/flipping sound that echoes somehow off any interior place's flat walls and floors, as if the sound of someone walking anywhere inside needs to be trackable for the entire household.Overall through, these are great for the cost and quality and are coming out ahead so far and at every point in the road where they are needed to show up and give it their all for me and my feet, as we're starting to trust these flops and have expectations for them. I hope they don't deteriorate fast. No reason to think they will, I just hope they won't.
