Well-made, durable, cute, mostly comfy sneaker.
Size first. I'm an 8.5 wide, and my feet are pretty wide. I got the 9 and the fit is good. My pinky toes push at the inside of the shoe a bit, but not uncomfortably. The length is good. Very slightly too long, but again, not uncomfortably so. So for a wide foot, go up a half size and that should be enough. The shoe is good-looking. Cute design. Well-made. Durable materials. Very lightweight. Good tread on the rubber soles. Good cushion around the top at the ankle. Slips on and off easily while still staying snug. When you first put the shoes on, they're kind of hard, not soft as the description says. But after wearing them around for 15 minutes or so, they start to soften up. The sole insert especially seemed too hard at first, but softened up with a little bit of wear. Of course, if it keeps softening up, that will be a problem and I'll update. The elastic shoe lace with the plastic button seemed really odd to me at first. But it's easy to use and accommodates slipping the shoes off and on. If the laces loosen up, it's easy to retighten them.At first wearing these aren't comfortable enough that I'd wear them out to exercise in. They are comfortable enough for running errands, being on my feet for a couple of hours, etc. Good heel support, but not great arch support. I might try replacing the insert in the shoe or adding just an arch support. All in all, a decent shoe at a decent price. At $30, if you got this well-made, durable shoe and added an insert that was more comfortable, you'd still be paying a fair price for a good shoe.
