Comfy and Cute!
For reference. I usually wear a solid 8. There was no option of a women's 8, so, since I can go either way depending on the brand (usually 8.5 is too big, but not always), I went with the 7.5/6.5. I have a fairly large toe box, and very narrow back of foot/ankle.The first try on, they were very tight in the toe box- but pretty loose elsewhere. (This is my feet.). Almost too tight for toes, even at ends (length)- but again, loose elsewhere, so that was a bit confusing.Even with the tight toes, these were very comfortable. Great on the cushioning!! My feet did not ache after wearing them, and they usually do with any normal shoes. They didn't feel heavy at all. With where my low socks sat, I don't know if I would actually call this a hightop. They aren't no show socks, but they are usually covered with hiking boots or other higher tops. I didn't mind this, as I think it gave me more ankle support than the higher ones do. That was a big plus for me.One weird thing, and maybe its normal with this style, my socks showed along the side where the tongue sits. I hope it shows in pics(the black you see at top of foot around lacing, not the black on the sides), because that probably doesn't make sense- it didn't totally cover foot may be a better way to say it. I'll wear better socks in the future where it won't show, but I wanted it to be clear to anyone looking.I think it is good quality, but I would not wear around puddles or heavy rain.I still give 5 stars because of value at the current (under 38.00) pricing. Very comfortable. Some support and padding not often found in this price range. Cute color choices. Size may be tricky depending on foot shape, but I am happy.
