These boots checked all my boxes for requirements I had when looking for a comfortable barefoot-ish winter boot without breaking the bank! They are warm and comfortable. There is plenty of room in the toe for my toesies to spread out. I have a long, narrow, flat foot with low volume and they have enough room without feeling like it swallows my foot whole. I'm usually an 8.5 in women's and ordered a 9 and it's just right. There is adequate thickness in the sole for comfort without compromising flexibility - see photos below. I also love that the bottom has grooves to prevent slipping on icy surfaces this winter. And it's also a bonus that these "barefoot" boots look kinda cool too. I'm very pleased with the quality for the price!

Super comfy with my favorite insoles! The liner inside is nice and soft, but is pretty flat. But they are removable so you can put your own in. They're pretty warm so far. I haven't worn them outside for long periods, but when going to the store or work, they stay warm. They seem to be waterproof but not "submerge" proof. I wouldn't purposefully wade in water.

As comfortable as the sneaker style

They are a wonderful winter version of the barefoot- type shoe with the broad box that does not scrunch your toes. They are definitely for cooler weather; but love the look with jeans and casual pants. They do run just slightly on the large size, but I don't think I could have gone a size down 9unless someone makes a 7 1/4 size.
