Bought these boots to replace my six year old Cougar/storm brand and they do not disappoint! If you want a warm, comfortable, stylish boot, you should get these! Would suggest however, that you size up to accommodate a heavier sock!
I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on brand but per the reviews, I sized up to a 9. They fit perfect with enough room to double up socks if needed. Wore them out in the snow playing with my kids and my feet stayed dry and warm. The heal part of the sole is firm like others have said but I found them to fit great and be comfortable! Exactly what I wanted for Midwestern snow!

I've never had a pair of duck boots before, but everyone in Wisconsin should have a pair of no-nonsense snow boots- even if they don't wear them daily. I like them. The plaid makes them more fashionable and the lining seems very warm. The bottoms are certainly waterproof, we're under a weather advisory with ice in the forecast so we'll see about slip-proof, I'm sure they will pass the test. The only thing is these are the second pair, the first pair I ordered fit just barely without a sock, it was an 8 and I sent them back. In shoes, I take about a 7 and a half, if no half size I go up to an 8. However, I do have a somewhat wide foot. The pair I received today is a 9 and they fit with a sock. There's a little room at the toe. They do make my feet look bigger but I think these are probably better because my feet do puff a little sometimes. If I still had my shoe stretcher I might have kept the 8. They do run very small. They're cute. I'm sure they are very warm. Certainly waterproof. Hopefully, they will keep me safe on the ice. The sole certainly looks like they will. So just order a lot larger than what you normally wear.

First true to size.Warm and cozy and gives off snuggly winter vibes. Very cute! We don’t get much snow or ice where I live so I cannot comment on traction. This boot looks durable and well made!
