Most of the negative reviews for the genuine leather flats were that they ran small. I wear size 7, ordered size 7, and the flats fitted perfectly and were incredibly soft and comfortable. So glad I gave it a try.
I really like these flats, they’re cute and the square toes have a kind of ballet toe shoe vibe. They are genuine leather, which (according to my research) is glued together bits and pieces leftover from whatever. It’s not the best leather available, but IMO it’s better than plastic and avoids waste. It smells good, feels good and I think will conform to my feet over a short time. I don’t know yet how they will hold up, but so far so good.Warning 1: I had to return my first pair and reorder because the shoes didn’t match in color.Warning 2: the heel is separating already and I’m planning to (try!) to fix with glue.Warning 3: they definitely fit small! I recommend ordering at least one size larger.I suppose it says something about how much I like the shoes that I’m willing to deal with a certain amount of nonsense, and I’m about to order another pair in a different color, so…
Sleek, nice flat for the price. I love the wider toe box. I had to size up one full size as it runs a bit small and I have a bit of a bunion and higher arches. May buy another pair in a different color.
Update #2 - Ordered a second pair and true to their nature, the heels came off as well. I stand by my comments below - they are ok for me without the heels, but this is silly.--------Update - wore them on a cruise in Dec and one of the heels started separating from the sole. Keep in mind that I had only worn these occasionally to dinner (about 6 times) with not much walking, and then on the cruise ship only. Before I could try to super glue it- had to wait for the gift shop to open - I realized at some point that afternoon I had lost the heel on the ship somewhere!Since it actually felt ok without the heel, I decided to pry the other heel off. I would remove 1/2 a star for quality issue/performance failure of the one heel, but honestly, they feel quite comfortable without them and I am always wearing them now anyway, so no harm, no foul. But note: I do not need much arch support and love going barefoot when possible, so this works for me.They do stretch quite a bit, but I think I would still have struggled with the size 8, so I may order another size 9 and just use a heel guard/pad.--------I am a size 8 (sometimes even a 7.5) but these were extremely tight all around. Fits really well in a size 9.Cute shoes.
They look great, the sole is so thin that is like walking on bare feet.
