Steel toe farm and construction boots

These boots are comfortable and super lightweight compared to other steel toes I've had, which makes them easy to walk around in for farm work and, of course, construction jobs. They've got a strong steel toe, hard rubber sole prevent slip and protect from nails going through, and the high ankle adds protection, which is nice when dealing with rocks, brush, or even snakes. The knob lace system is really convenient. I just turn it clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen without messing with regular laces. They look stylish too, not bulky like most work boots. Sizing is true, though the toe area could use a little more width since it feels snug against the steel. For the price, which is much lower than some other brands, they're a solid and practical pair of work shoes.

solid shoe for what it is.

this is a pretty solid shoe. I did get a little confused on how the lacing mechanism works so I got them stuck on my feet for a couple of minutes whoops! It is waterproof and has good tread and feels very secure. A name brand equivalent shoe costs twice as much as these or more. Not sure how they will hold up but for now I'm happy.

Steel toe, but not steel shank

These are really nice shoes. They feel like genuine leather. I was unable to read the labels as they are only in Chinese. The shoes come with an extra shoelace, but only one. These are narrow and a tight fit for average width feet, but length seem to be accurate to size leaving me with just enough extra toe room. The insole padding is almost nonexistent and these would benefit from an aftermarket insole. While these are steel toed, the sole is very soft and flexible. Clearly there is no steel shank in the sole. The sole is very grippy and slip-resistant. From a practical point of view, my opinion is that any steel toed shoe should also have a steel shank.
