Great features and unique looking but sizing runs small.
I recently purchased these shoes for my daily training. Overall, these shoes have a lot going for them. The design is sleek and athletic, and the build quality feels solid. The sole provides excellent traction, which is great for general gym training. The reinforced ankle support adds stability. They are also lightweight, and the color is unique an looks cool.However, I had to lower my rating to 4 stars because the sizing runs small. They don't seem to be true to size and fit too tight, so unfortunately, I won’t be able to wear them comfortably.Aside from the sizing problem, the quality and performance features are impressive.

These boxing boots fit great and give me the ankle support I was looking for
I am always looking for a good pair of tennis shoes. It doesn't matter if they're walking shoes, running shoes, or in this case, boxing boots. I want shoes that I can wear that are comfortable and protect my ankles. When I saw these boxing boots for men, I decided to give them a try.I ordered a pair that are the blue color with the red soles on them. When they arrived, they came packaged—really liked the way they were packaged. I pulled them out of the package, looked them over, and made sure there was no type of damage whatsoever. I found no type of tears or missing parts of any kind, such as shoelaces or anything like that. The shoes came in perfect condition.I tried them on immediately and they fit beautifully. So, whatever size you believe you do wear, pick that size because it actually will fit you. The first day I wore them, be very careful. And especially if you live in a home where there is tile on the floor and moisture in the air, they do get a little slippery. There's not a lot of traction at first. But after wearing them for a while, they did not slip anymore on the floor.I am not using them as boxing boots, though. I am using them as house shoes. I just love the way they fit and support my entire foot all the way up to my ankle. And that is what I look for. I highly recommend them.

Not flexible nor very comfortable. Too much padding around the ankle.
I just did not like these shoes as much as I had hoped to. Admittedly it has been almost 35 years since I last wrestled competitively, but I had an idea that I wanted my old asics split sole wrestling shoe back again and hoped this was it. I have been using an old pair of New Balance sneakers as my workout shoe and only being worn indoors and only for an hour or so at a time they tend to last forever but I was in the market for a new workout shoe and had the idea that wrestling shoes would pack down smaller in my suitcase when I traveled and would be lighter weight at the gym. As I mentioned, I wanted an exact replacement for my old high school asics. These were not it. These shoes are not really light weight at all and aren't nearly as flexible as wrestling shoes should be. They are heavily padded at the top, so in a way they feel like basketball shoes but without the sole. That extra thickness isn't comfortable to me and makes putting them on and lacing them a pain. I doubt I will find a productive use for them now, but even if I take up wrestling again I don't see these as being the shoes I'd pick.

Good support for a guy who works as a mover
It was hard to choose a color but the red was calling to me. They are very red in person (almost neon!), so make sure that's what you want. They have good ankle support. I did not order these for the purpose of boxing or wrestling, but for a person whose job is a mover. He is a former boxer and now has a moving business. These are perfect for him and he looks so cool in them. No complaints. The size seemed to be accurate as well.

This shoe is well made. The material is light weight but sturdy.The only issue I can find is that the size guides are all over the place. It will be hard to get the right size.For the record they DO FIT well.These shoes are marketed for both men and women.I am a guy. I usually wear size 8 or 8.5 tennis shoes (men's size) but I also wear size 10 to 10.5 women's tennis shoes.The product pictures include a size chart, showing US Women's 10.5 = Men's 9.5 = Europe 42. The insole is listed as 10.75. That's about right for Women's size, but 10.5 women's is no way close to Men's 9.5, so there is a mismatch.My size is Women's 10, and the amazon ordering sizes shows all sizes in half increments, so I was able to order size 10. Which according to the picture should be around EU size 41.5 (between 9.5 and 10.5 women's).The sizing chart in the Amazon ordering area shows "US Regular" "brand size" 10 being equivalent to EU size 41.5 insole 10.5. So these two women's size brands made sense to me.So I ordered a 10. The shoe fits perfectly.However, the label on the shoe says EUR 43. According to the size chart on the pictures, EU size 43 is like men's 10 and women's 11. I don't believe the US Men's sizes are correct at all. My men's size is 8, maybe 8.5.So. The size 10 on amazon matches the size 43 on the shoe, but it is NOT a men's size 10, nor a men's size 43 either.Confused yet?They are good quality. I like them. But the sizing tables make it hard to give it 5 stars.
