High quality work boots that you can wear with a dress.
These boots are heavy duty, functional, and look great. I can wear these at construction sites in the day and with a dress at night and they're perfect for either occasion.I usually wear a 7-7.5, and the 7 left me with enough room for thick socks. The toes are tough and didn't dent when I dropped a big 4x4 on them. So far they've proven to be waterproof, and in my opinion aren't annoying to take off. I'm 5'3" and 110 lbs and their weight doesn't bother me at all.The company accidentally sent me an 8 at first, but I called them and they immediately sent me a shipping label free of charge. They are an independent seller--not Amazon--so if you have any issues, it seemed like calling them directly was much more efficient. I still filed the return with Amazon though, just to make sure they knew what was going on.All in all, these boots are awesome. They're tough and are well worth the $67 I spent (including shipping). If you want a pair of work boots that are both functional and fashionable, these are a great option.

Do not order these, customer service is crap and there is no way to get ahold of someone to talk to
These were to big so when I tried to return them it just took me straight to a label that said I would have to pay to ship it back. I needed to speak with customer service but tried several time and I guess it doesn't exist. I will never order from this company again and if you order the wrong size be prepared to pay to ship it back which is much different than any other shoes I've order online before including from Amazon. Don't waste you time, don't waste your money and don't order from these guys. Unfortunately I had to give at least a star rating but I would have given a 0 star rating if it were available.

Really strong and sturdy riding boots
I have been looking for a new pair of motorcycle boots that I can wear off the motorcycle in various settings, including a professional setting at work. I have tried several other brands, but all have had issues. These boots are great, very sturdy, very protected, great heel and sole and they look versatile as well.Wore them on a winter ride and they were outstanding. One thing I really like is the tongue on these boots. Insanely thick and comfortable, providing warmth while on the bike on what can be a challenging area for riding boots with laces. Boots feel true to size. I hope they last. Will update with pics and also once they are worn in.

Very poor quality & does not accept returns
The inside of the ankle section has a hard ridge which makes the boots very painful to wear therefor they are unwearable. Very poor design. When trying to return the item even though it said returns will be accepted up to January 31st, my attempt to return the boots was rejected. I still had 15 days to return the item.

Things have changed
I am very sad to say that, with the purchase of my 3rd pair of these, some years after the 2nd pair gave it up, the design has changed significantly, and for the worse. instead of being fitted/flared out to fit the shape of a human calf, the back of the boot rises straight up, maybe even curves inward a bit, making the top cuff of the boot uncomfortably cut in under the base of the calf muscle. I'm trying to wear these around the house to break in a better shape/fit, but the leather is even thicker and stiffer than I remember from the earlier pairs I had, and become painful after short wearing. I might try the old water-soak trick for combat boots, but that really shouldn't be necessary, and hasn't been in the last 2 pairs I had. Also, the tongue is now extremely thick and padded, narrowing the opening even more, and making these awkward to lace. It's like trying to tightly lace up a pillow. Very disappointed that they've made these changes to what had been a perfect work/riding/hiking logger boot. ***ORiGINAL 5* REVIEW: I love these boots. This is my second pair, after the first wore through after nearly 3 years of non-stop use, and only after some neglect during the winter months. If you care for these boots (brush salt/mud off, mink oil and/or polish), you can wear the living crap out of them, and they'll keep going. They are very sturdily constructed out of heavy materials, so although quite comfortable from the get-go, they do take some breaking in before you try to trek any serious distance with them. There is some validity to the complaints about the zipper not going down far enough to be fully useful at avoiding loosening the laces, but any further and the water resistance would likely be compromised. Bar none, best multi-purpose (biking, hiking, inclement weather, business, everyday wear) pair of boots I've ever owned.

Sizing issues
I received these, tried them on, and put them directly back in the box. Other reviews say they are a bit larger than true size; I wear an 8 1/2 but the boots I received are tight, front to back and side to side.I suspect there are issues with quality control at the manufacturer, at least as far as sizing.The boots are otherwise pretty nice, but .. they gotta fit! The seller, LeatherUp, is only willing to ship replacements with me paying shipping, despite the inability to be sure of sizing .. and sadly, when I contacted them via email to ask a question, the reply I received was boiler plate on how to do a return. Nobody bothered to actually read the email and attempt to respond to the actual question.I'm off to buy some logger boots from an actual store. I guess this is just one of those things that can't really be reliably purchased online.
