Most Comfortable Shoes (work or otherwise) I've ever worn. Bar none.
A few notes before I begin my rave...* These are steel-toed boots, so be very sure of your shoe size as the toe area will not be forgiving.* The side zip does make it possible to just "slip" these boots on, but the leather structure at the back of the shoe is substantial, so a shoe horn (especially before wearing in) will be helpfulThe Rave!I'm a designer with an architecture firm and developer. We spend a LOT of time wandering around job sites. These shoes are SO SO SO comfortable. The heel height is perfect and the shape of the arch is right on target. The chicks who designed these shoes must really know what it means to do real work in these shoes. The ankle "boot" of the shoes is very supportive. The short nature of the boot is just right. When you squat down to inspect low work (toes and ankles flexed to the extreme), the shoe accommodates this with no problem. The shoe does not dig in anywhere, there is no restriction of motion and my ankles still feel supported. The cushioned insole. Wow. It is leather and it is comfortable. I'm assuming that over time, this will eventually compress somewhat, so I'd like to find out if I can purchase several sets to replace these every so often. Walking on hard surfaces - especially concrete - is tough on the feet. I have occasional bouts of plantar fasciitis and these are the shoes I would wear to cure that! This is a woman's shoe. It looks feminine and feels light - especially for a steel-toed shoe. Without the clod-hopper, heavy-weight or laced up ankles, you can easily drive the car (even a stick shift) and still feel like you have control over the pedals. These are all-day shoes. They look really really classy. You don't have to change into "work" shoes after you get to work and you don't have to change out of these to catch dinner after work.Recommendation...These are the shoes that real working women have been waiting for. You can work like the best of the men without having to look like one of them.
