Great, comfortable shoe for wide feet

Love this shoe! Very comfy for my wide feet. I ordered a size 10 Wide in gray and use them not for running but for walking around stores and daily activities.I did a really light hike/nature walk in them too and they were comfy but did start giving me a heel blister toward the end of the hike, but that might have been because that was the first hike we’d gone on in ages. Most of the time I felt that they didn’t cause problems and were very comfortable. I should also point out that they’re not really for hiking anyway. Hah.I have wide feet and have had a really hard time finding a comfortable shoe that actually fits and doesn’t have to be ridiculously big or long to fit my wide feet. These finally did the trick, look nice, and fit really well without being too long. I wasn’t sure if these would be comfy at first as there was a bit of closeness/tightness in the width of my shoe, but I wore them inside for a while on the first day—I was standing a lot of the time—and they grew on me.We have since ordered their hiking shoes but they weren’t available in wide so we’ll have to wait and see if size 10, not wide still works for my feet.So far, very happy with these Xero running shoes as everyday shoes.

Comfortable, lightweight, breathable

Just got my Xero shoes today, and I'm loving them so far! They're so beautiful and vibrant! (Not to mention they look AMAZING with my tattoo!) They're incredibly lightweight and breathable; A great barefoot shoe so far. Fit exactly as expected. Coming from someone who has had barefoot shoes before, they are not larger or smaller than they should be. They're meant to be snug but not tight, so don't be surprised when your toes come right to the end. So far, so good! Now to see how they break in at work and hold up over time!

Very Comfy for Walking; Great for Wide Feet

Love these shoes! Just ordered a second pair. The soles feel like my vibram 5 fingers, but without looking weird at work and in social settings. Was so excited when they arrived that I walked on my treadmill for over an hour the very first day and my feet weren't sore at all afterward. Been wearing them daily and wore them on an 8-hour car ride. So comfortable it feels like I'm not wearing shoes.I have a very wide foot (a smidge over 4.5" width thanks to bunions) and these are one of the very few shoes I can wear comfortably. (For example, Topo, Altra, Merrell, and Vivo were all too narrow for my feet.)

Xero running shoes NFS 2 and sizing being so different for each style.

I have worn Merrell pace glove, barefoot shoes for almost 10 years and I love them but the two pairs I have have literally fallen apart and they don’t make them anymore and the ones they do make are not the same, so I decided to try these. While I like these, I liked my Merrell better the only difference to me is the insole is very rough on the bottom of my foot on these, where in the Merrell it is very soft lining. I would’ve given it five stars if the insole is softer that being said they are comfortable. Also, the sole inserts bunch up every time I take the shoes off. Just really bad quality the purple ones when I tried them on feel different so I hope they are better quality.UPDATE I have wanted another pair of these barefoot shoes and the HFS is discontinued. What I have been through to find a new pair is unbelievable. I bought the HFS2 in white size 7 because that’s the size I wore in HFS. I was so disappointed when they came. They were so big too long too wide and they look like clown shoes so then I tried the neo prio. They told me to buy my normal size of 6 1/2 so I did. They were too small so I ordered the size 7 and while they fit they were very uncomfortable so I contacted the company yet again about the HFS2 to explain what happened with them being big and they told me to order a 6 1/2. I did and they fit perfectly . But I will say that when I held the sole up of the NFS and the NFS two the NFS two in 6 1/2 is a little bit larger than the nfs size 7I have solved the problem for now. I wish xero would make their sizing more consistent. But the NFS two is just as comfortable for me as the NFS. It was just a long road to get here.So if you like a barefoot shoe, which is the only thing I want to wear when I wear closed shoe, I highly recommend these but buyer beware about what size to orderUPDATE 2/26/25I had these NFS 2 not very long when they started to fall apart. The inside fabric at the back of my foot is ripped this is unacceptable to me. These are expensive shoes and it should not happen. The NFS 1 I have. He’s much better quality and did not have this problem. So I found myself in a conundrum because I need to find another pair of barefoot shoes and I cannot. So I decided to buy the NFS two again. I will say the color is much prettier in person than it is in the picture. I truly hope the same thing does not happen and I hate myself for even buying them based on what happened with the last pair, but there really is nothing out there. That is the same kind of shoeI hope when they come out with the new version, it is much better other words more true to size and doesn’t fall apart. Trust me I don’t wear these for long hikes, etc. this should never have happened. In addition the laces don’t stay tied,

Perfect barefoot athletic shoe

I love this shoe and now several of my family members are hooked on them too. I have a slightly wide forefoot, and what I like about this shoe is that the mesh stretches to accommodate toe splay. It is a very comfortable shoe right out of the box and looks stylish. Per the Xero website, this shoe runs a half size small. I generally wear a size 10 in shoes and purchased a 10.5 in the HFS. The 10.5 fits perfectly.

Comfortable shoe

I received a pair of these shoes 3 days ago. They are very flexible and comfortable with really good grip. Walking outside on gravel or rough surfaces is no problem. My only complaint is that the toe box is more narrow than I hoped for.

Perfect shoes!!!

The shoes are adorable, the grip is insanely grippy, they fit true to size, and they are PERFECT shoes if you want to feel like ur walking and supported naturally. They even have an insert u can use (or not use) if u want a pure barefoot feel or a minimalist feel with slight support. Even the insert is a flat flexible surface instead of a raised heel like 90% of all other shoes and inserts! So worth thr price and I will forever only buy these shoes!
