These shoes are STIFF! Which is a good thing for most serious riders. They are warm and could be made even warmer with an Aerogel insole. For the price, these shoes can't be beat! They even come with (Cleat-type) spikes, but you could insert a more spike-like spike for winter security. Great Deal!!!
Have only just put them on an hour or so ago. A little bit smaller than the typical size 10.5 here in America, but I ordered a little bigger than normal to account for thick socks. Took 3 weeks delivery time from England.I'm in Dallas and you can ride here all year long, my feet just take a hit when it is below 40 degF or so on a ride of 1.5-2 hours. The insulation on these boots is thicker than any bike shoe I own and they look plenty waterproof enough for any of my rides. I'm still playing around with the lacing system, nowhere really to stash the little cinch (they don't tie like a sneaker) so I'm hoping the outer zipper is durable, it felt a little tight pulling them on brand new out of the box.Hey, better than many I've had for winter riding, just from walking around in them for an hour, we'll see on the first good cold ride. I'll repost after full testing.
Has not been cold enough to use these yet, but they are comfortable an warm. Great winter boots for the price!
it is not water resistant, and zip on the left side Damaged within 1 week, it no longer fastens, or it fastens and loosens on its own when walking.but in sunny day it is warm thank goodness.
Good in the cold.
