I’ve worn these boots for months now. They are stiff when new. Give it time they break in very well. They are rugged the soles have hardly any wear. I walk on concrete in them all day sometimes, gravel, and etc. I’m surprised that they are pretty comfortable. They are water proof pretty much. I will be buying another pair. They fit great and off good support.
Need to be broke in for sure. Awesome boots though, pretty comfy.
This is a good study boot. I used it for hiking, mountain climbing and rock climbing. I like the knobby tread. I like the ease of lacing.
Tried 4 other XPETI boots (Thermator line) and found the breaking crease across the toes/foot were painful. I could also feel the aggressive tread pushing up through the (very flimsy and thin) insoles. Then I tried these Raptors. Better insole - no feeling of the tread from below and super comfortable right out of the box. No more crimped foot tops!

I definitely would buy them again and again aaaannnd again, they feel fresh in the wear so I definitely recommend for anyone to wear
So far so good haven't really encountered much water but they are comfortable and fit nice
