The boot’s lost their grip in 2 weeks of use of walking and hiking
Really light and breathable, been wearing them on duty for 4 months full time. No good for winter time but if you’re looking for a lightweight hot weather boot I would recommend. P.S. I had to install thick insoles so that my foot would fit tall enough inside of them, so if you don’t have super thick feet buy a set of really thick insoles for them.
Very uncomfortable, tried to make it work with bigger socks and everything but the heel on it really digs in to your ankle and it leaves a blister after a while, I’ve worn them for about 2 weeks to give them a chance but honestly was just a monetary loss
Quality is great! Comfort as far as the padding is great! Only issue is the heal area bunches up and will cause blisters big time. Makes me wonder if anyone tested these boots. Now the water proof boots they sell are amazing, but very hot... I was hoping for the same level of comfort in these...
These boots are very good! First off, they are very lightweight! I was shocked how light they are. They are easy to put on and lace up. That lightness makes them very comfortable. They also feel breathable due to the fabric used. They feel a little "para-military" in style, but if you drop your pants over the tops, they looks like normal utilitarian work shoes with rubber soles. I'll end up wearing them more than I thought because of that unexpected comfort!
The boot is solid. It looks nice too although I accidentally got the wrong size. Due to the wrong size, I cannot speak about the comfort, but guessing from what it felt like being too big, I think it would be comfortable. The grip is neither extra ordinary nor disappointing - so about average. Shame I mistakenly got the wrong size as I hoped to wear these.
My last pair of similarly styled boots (which were Rocky brand) were finally starting to show their age, and were beginning to blow out on the side, so I really needed another pair of "tac boots".These are excellent replacements. First of all, the fit is great. They have good room not only length-wise, but also the width and height is excellent, and allows room for nice heavy boot socks if you choose to wear them. Folks with taller or wider feet should have no problem with these. The sizing is also pretty accurate, I typically wear a 10.5 in sneakers, and the 10.5 here fit me very well.I wore them around for about a day before writing this, and they're still nice and comfy on my feet, so I think I've found some rock-solid replacements for my old Rocky boots, lol.The only thing I don't like about them is they're a bit slow to put on compared to my old tac boots. You really have to loosen the laces a long way down to get them on, and you'll spend a little time getting the laces back to their proper tightness levels. So, if you need a boot that's FAST to put on, these aren't. To wit, if they release a side-zip version of these? I'll buy them right now.Dear XPETI, PLEASE make a side-zip version of this boot!Because I'm not using these in a combat situation or someplace I have to be able to put them on in seconds, I don't mind a little extra time to put them on. For the price, I think these boots offer a tremendous value for the quality and comfort level. I totally recommend them, they're excellent. And I have my fingers crossed for a side-zip version of the exact same boot. 5 stars.
