Comfortable and solid shoe
Way better alternative to chucks or the altama maritime. The material is durable and breathes, the tongue padding feels good, the insole is crazy quality. I thought i was getting a pair of Chinese knock off Chuck Taylors but they're better made and surprised me. these have turned into my everyday work "boot". Overall it's well made, the sole is crazy comfortable, toe box is wide. 100% recommend. If you need lifting shoes these are it as well for squats.

I wanted to try these Mission Mid by Xpeti for my go-to everyday shoes, since I've been wearing the similar Viktos Overbeach Mid shoes for several years, but they seem to have been discontinued.First impression was that the Xpeti Mission Mids are well made. Nice material and stitching. They are lightweight and very flexible. Nice wide toe box and great cushion around the ankle and tongue. I thought that overall they were a great looking shoe!I ordered a size 10, which I wear in nearly every other shoe. However, these Xpeti shoes run 1/2 size to a whole size too big.I generally have a lot of foot pain, so I wore these around the house for an hour or so to try them out. Although the insoles that they come with are very nice (a lot of heel cushion), I replaced them with Noble Outfitters Best Dang Insoles (which I use in all of my shoes). The Noble insoles offer more forefoot cushion.As much as I really liked the looks and overall feel of these Xpeti shoes, I did have some forefoot discomfort. So between my personal foot pain issues and the shoe sizing running big, I decided to return them. I'm tempted to try them again though in a size 9 or 9 1/2, after my Viktos are worn out.Please take this review with a grain of salt though, since I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that I can wear all day and not have some foot pain (I'm on my feet twelve or more hours a day, up and down ladders, working on concrete floors, etc).I think for most people, these Xpeti Mission Mid shoes would be great. If you can wear, for example Converse All Stars, then these will be even more comfortable (although these are much wider).I've included a few pictures of the Xpeti Mission Mid (size 10) with my Viktos Overbeach Mid (size 10) for comparison, as well as me standing on the insoles to show sizing (bright yellow is the Viktos 10, light green is the Xpeti).

Comfortable out of the box
I was hesitant purchasing these because I’m very particular when it comes to footwear. I’m a larger man with a history of bad knees and lower back so the shoes have to be right or they will cause me severe pain.After I put them on they were perfect for me. No need to break in as they felt uncomfortable already. So far my longest wear of them has been 10hrs and zero pain while wearing them. Up and down with walking in between and they were super uncomfortable.I’m a big fan of these shoes!!!

Left shoe
Hello please inspect the left shoe of your inventory because we left shoe has a slight but noticeable bump or rise toward the front shoe. Where you place the weight of your foot while wearing the shoes. This only in the left shoe and it hurt the bottom front of my left foot.😒 otherwise the other shoe and the left shoe fit okay with exception to the imperfection in the left shoe I like the style of your shoes but it hurt my foot. Very disappointed

Great Boot/Shoe
I wear a men's size 10. The reviews said go 1/2 size lower....so I did...and it was a perfect fit. Question...why do the black color shoes not mention "wide", until after its in the "cart"? I don't wear a "wide". I need a regular fit, not wide. Expeti, please explain.

Comparable to the OTB
I am a Viktos OTB fan and have had quite a few pairs. I have worn them until they fell apart. I do think they are a little overpriced for what they are and wanted to find another brand that was comparable.I believe I have found that with these Xpeti mission mid Tac boots. I find them a bit more comfortable than the OTB’s. They seem to be well made and the stitching seems good.I did order a half size down as recommended by another reviewer. He was spot on! The only thing I would like to see with future models are vent holes. Other than that, I am pleased.I do hope these boots hold up as well as the OTB’s did. I’ll give an update as some time moves forward.
