I purchased these for fall and winter adventures in the woods, exp,oring, solo wilderness camping, etc. They are not insulated but the internal cloth padding is thick and midweight merino wool socks should be fine in above freezing temperatures. These woots are light, comfortable, and sturdy and feature outstanding traction.
These are great. Nice support and definitely 💯 water proof. I stud in the river with them and never leaked. They are nice and warm and comfortable right out of the box.

The toe in the boots isn't super wide, but they're comfortable and light eeight with great ankle support
