Overall good boots
These boot are warm and easy to put on, my only complaint is that they are a bit stiff, makes walking a bit awkward at first but you do get use to them. Other than that they are comfortable.

My 9 1/2 regulars are an absolutely spot on accurate fit! They’re extremely well insulated and warm. The zippers are a bit stiff ( a little graphite or oil solves the problem), but they stay zipped , unlike some other brands. Also, they’re waterproof and have a very substantial tread for getting a good grip in the snow. The only reason I’m withholding one star is that the insoles are needlessly uncomfortable. Adding just a little padding would have made them nearly perfect. Having said that; a gel insert, or even a thick pair of socks solves the problem. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.

Nice quality
Nice boots, well made, the style reminds me of a higher end Vasque hiking shoe/boot. A few draw backs, I’m a size 9 in a merrel, and with a thick sock, these are too small across the toes, ball of my feet. With regular socks, my foot sits perfect, but since these are zip up. One size fits most, they’re too loose across the top of the foot, with regular socks. And my foot moves around in it.With that being said, it may fit you great, but for extended periods of time walking, these will hurt your feet. On me anyway. Great for a rainy day to the store, or walk the dog when it’s cold out. But for long walks in the woods, you’ll need a lace up pair. These are good for hanging around the camp prior to bed.But overall impressive looking boot, just not very comfortable for long walks.

After 2hrs I had to change this boots because we're killing my feet a lot of pain on my ankles and my knees and the worse part is this boots aren't slip resistant, I almost fall off twice this boots really sucks 👎. they are warm that's all. Boots were comfortable to walk in and warm but uppers didn't fit.
I live in the north with harsh winters. Wanted a pair of boots that would look reasonably good while going out rather than heavy boots I use for snowblowing, etc. The performance was good as far as comfort and how warm they kept my feet. They are also totally waterproof.The bad: I would consider my feet and ankles to be normal size but I can't zip them up. The boot is the correct size but the upper is way too tight. With a lot of work I can get one boot partially zipped up but forget it with the other one. My workaround is to just pull my pant legs down over them. I chose not to send them back and just live with it. Having said that I would not recommend buying them. Maybe the uppers would fit you and be fine. For me they are a fail.

Chunky, warm, comfort...mm, mmm, good!
I like boots. All kinds of boots. Cowboy boots, work boots, hiking boots, snow boots...name a kind of boot and the chances are I'm gonna like it. I really like these boots. First, they look great. They're stout and, like I said, chunky. They're very comfortable for kicking around in, snow or no snow. I was at a soccer game early this morning and, at around 34 degrees, my feet stayed toasty. I wouldn't wear these on a long hike of any kind though, I find them a bit too heavy and loose fitting for that - they're zippered so there's no way to snug them beyond pulling the zipper all the way up. I have an older pair of a similar style but different brand and they have the same issue. I found that the fit was accurate (size 13 shoe, size 13 boot - better fit than I expected actually). I've yet to get them wet and I haven't trudged through any snow yet. The tread is very aggressive, which I like a great deal. I'm sure the snow traction will be good. Very easy-on/easy-off. While they're not at all uncomfortable, I'll probably add some gel inserts because I like them. All in all they appear to be a good quality, well constructed boot. Hard to beat for the money. I was not familiar with XPETI until I came across them on Amazon. They have quite a line. If these hold up reasonably well, I'll buy more.
