Great Boot right out of the box. I'm buying a second pair.
So far I'm pretty impressed. My only reason for not giving 5 star is sizing. I have a narrow foot but these are a little too narrow with normal socks. Hopefully as they break in more, they will be less right. The quality seems very durable and well made. I normally wear a 10.5 and feel that I could have gone with an 11 and been more comfortable . I haven't hit cold season yet so can't speak for warmth or water durability. Overall, good value for the money
Fit is true to size. Very comfortable, gives you 1 1/2 inch of height. Would buy again, I have bought 3 different pairs of Xpeti boots they are worth the money.
Well made, comfortable, attractive, true to size, great boots!
These hiking boots give you quite a bit of lift. From the sole to where your foot actually rests, you probably gain three quarters of an inch to a full inch of height. At first that threw me off, but I came to like it. They are not fully waterproof, but it looks like they would keep water out up to about an inch or an inch and a half. I appreciate that feature, but anything deeper and your feet are going to get wet. For me, waterproofing is a big deal in hiking boots, so that was a bit of a drawback. The materials are described as breathable, which might make these better suited for desert hiking. I cannot speak to that use case since I do not live near the desert or the mountains. The construction seems solid. The stitching looks good and in some places even double stitched where the rubber meets the leather. The grip design looks layered and should hold up well, though I have not yet tested them on rock surfaces. For their size, the boots are relatively lightweight, but they do look heavy duty. To be honest, they give off more of a combat boot vibe than a casual hiking shoe. I would not wear them in an airport because they draw that kind of attention. They have a very specific hiking purpose in my opinion, not an everyday look. They came in a little stiff, but I expect them to break in over time and become comfortable. There is some heel slip when stepping up. I ordered a 10.5, which is my normal size, and while the fit is not perfect, it is reasonable. You can double up on socks if needed, and they do come with a Scholl’s liner if you want extra cushioning. The laces are standard, nothing special. For the money, I am somewhat impressed. The next tier of hiking boots I would consider buying would run around 160 dollars, and these were about half that price. At this price point, I am not upset with what I got. They look solid, and if you do not need waterproofing, they are a decent buy. Roll the dice.
Well made but the sole and heel made them feel and look like platform boots. I ended up returning the item as I would never wear them. They did feel like they were a quality boot that would last.
Run about 1/2 size larger . Very heavy . If not for that , I would have given perfect score . Well made and look good on feet . These boots are built like a tank .
