There's a lot to like about this Xpeti Chelsea boot:- The value is fantastic for what you get. This is not the cheapest boot you can get, but it is difficult to find a waterproof, well insulated boot with good traction at this price. This is for the very coldest temperatures with deep snow.- The lugs along the centerline that are speckled with blue are noticeably more grippy than the other lugs and the lugs of most boots. On the fingers, it feels like sandpaper - perfect for smooth ice.- The branded insulation (3M's Thinsulate) is a pleasant surprise at this price point, as most boots at this price point have insulation that is simply a question mark. These Xpeti boots are insulated enough for at least 0F and with some warm socks will be suitable to -20F or colder.- There are pull tabs on both front and back sides of the collar.- The collar is a SCUBA-suit-like material and is very stretchy. It is very easy to squeeze feet through them, especially with the convenient pull tabs. This material is also the liner material above the ankle, which doesn't feel as good as fleece, but is unnoticeable when wearing socks.- The foot area below the ankle is lined with a soft fleece.- The insert is removable and it is easy enough to put in a different insole.- All stitches are double-row.There are a few negatives, that are relatively minor for a boot of this type:- This is a stiff boot. The flexibility above the ankle is well done, but below the ankle, there is zero flexibility. This is not unusual for a boot this heavy, but it's worth noting.- The stiffness extends to the midsole and the general walking experience. There is almost no cushioning under the foot, save for a very thin insole. This is a stiff boot all around and it underlines its use case - cold and snowy, where cushioning is unnecessary. This would be an uncomfortable boot to walk for very long on dry hard sidewalks. Consider getting a softer insert if you expect to be walking or standing on hard surfaces for long.
Waterproof enough to walk through puddles and heavy rain, insulated enough to keep warm in snow and comfortable enough to wear throughout the day, these are the kind of weather resistant shoes that will help beat the elements. They are made well and I really like the soft tops that dont rub against my lower shins when im walking. The tread is decent but oddly shallow for shoes of this kind. Inside is comfortable and supportive enough to spend all day without complaints and I did not have one wet sock across the two or three weeks of steady rain that i tested them in. They are durable, reliable in wet weather and mostly a must have for harsh, wet weather.
These boots are very impressive. I haven’t had the chance to test them in the snow yet, but they are extremely warm and comfortable right out of the box. The build quality is excellent, with solid double stitching and durable materials that feel like they’ll hold up well over time. I ordered the black pair in size 10, and the fit was exactly as advertised - true to size.As you can see in the pictures the packaging is very nice so it would make a great gift. The information included is very good as well - a lot of times products are great, but they don't have nice instructions or information included.I expected them to feel heavy based on their rugged look, but they’re actually quite lightweight and easy to wear. The traction is excellent, with a sole that grips well and feels stable on different surfaces. My only small preference would be for them to be a bit higher, but that doesn’t take away from how good they are overall.✅ PROS:++ Extremely warm and comfortable++ High-quality build with strong double stitching++ Lightweight for their rugged design++ Excellent traction and stability++ True-to-size fit❌ CONS:++ Could be a little higher for added coverage📌 SUMMARY:These boots are warm, comfortable, and well-built with excellent traction. Even though I’d prefer a slightly higher cut, they’re still a great choice for winter wear and definitely worth five stars.
They seem very warm. I appreciate the insulated side uppers. They were too narrow in the from for me. The real kicker is they are VERY hard to get on and off with no zipper.
These boots are easy to slip on and off. They keep your feet warm and dry. It is a little stiff but very comfortable to walk. I like to use these to drive in winter weather. Bonus is that I don't have to worry about lacing them up! Good price.
These outdoor boots are flying rugged. They are very easy to slip on. They are durable, and actually lightweight. They have great traction on the bottom. These are an excellent fine. I highly recommend them as they’re a great value for the money and they’re very durable and they’re waterproof. You can use these to work in your garden, or you can use these to walk out in wet weather. Or to go hiking in.
