These are great sandals, and fit true to size - but go based off of the shoe size you wear, not the size chart! The “buckle” is actually decorative over a velcro strap which is super functional but looks realistic. The faux suede is soft both on the top and the footbed, which has a thin layer of foam over the cork. Very comfortable and they work for casual use or more dressy occasions.
These seem ok for the price. My daughter isn’t able to wear them yet because they are too big. I ordered a size 3 which is her typical size but yet they are too big. Next summer hopefully they fit her and if not then her younger sister in another year. The material is soft to the touch and there is a bit of cushion in the sole. The sole is a thin layer of dense foam. Velcro to get them on and off is definitely convenient.
I'm an adult with shoe size 8.5 women's, 40 European. Big kids 7 is about a 38 European. With closed toe shoes I would hesitate, but with sandals there's enough room. The sandals felt initially a tiny bit tight when I put them on, but I think they'll stretch to size easily. As soon as I started walking around in them, they felt comfortable abs not to tight. The toe box is wide, which is great for feet health. From the photo I thought the straps were pink and white speckles, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were actually covered in pink, white, rose gold and iridescent heart glitter. This is not for the faint of heart. For my style, they'll dress up great while being a comfortable flat shoe. I'm hopeful they'll hold up for a longer time, I've had kids cork soled sandals before, and they would wear out in a season. I say this as someone who wore vans and canvas sneakers and took care of them to last five years. The soles on these are thicker, and the straps seem secure, I think the weakest link will be the Velcro closure. TBD. overall I'm stoked to have found these shoes!
These sandals are perfect for my daughter who is obsessed with anything pink and/or glittery. Theyre super cute and she just loves them! She is in between sizes, wearing a 6.5 so I ordered these in a 7 and they fit great to where she can wear them now and still for a bit because there is room at the front so I can confidently say these run true to size. Theyre really easy for her to put on by herself and she says theyre comfortable, they dont dig in anywhere or rub and give blisters. They seem well made and the bottoms arent slippery even on the wet pavement which is nice.
These seem to run bigger than the usual size my daughter wears, but she will grow into them. They are pretty thin, not really foam or comfortable. The cork footbed feels like just like, there is not a lot of room for comfort but once they are broken in they seem to get a tad more comfortable. I like that the buckle is Velcro, so its not digging in and gives the ankle more breathing room. For the price they will last a season and they look cute on.
We ordered these for our teenage daughter who wears 6.5 in women’s shoes, so we got her a size 6 in this kid size. These sandals fit perfectly and are quite comfortable. They appear to be very high quality in materials and construction and look great too. The straps attach easily with velcro strips, instead of buckles that you may see on similar sandals. The velcro seems strong and should work well for walking and everyday use. We are very happy with these sandals and think they are a great value at $20.
These are big kids' shoes, but I'm an adult and I wear big kids sandals. These sandals exceeded my expectations. They look exactly like the photo. The straps are soft but sturdy, and they look and feel like leather. The cork sole was, of course, stiff for a moment, but after a walk around the block they flex where I want them to flex. When I took them out of the box, I was disappointed that the strap is velcro, not buckle, but then I was able to adjust them to the exact right position and tension. These shoes are surprisingly comfortable and my feet feel secure in them. No rubbing or rough spots, just sturdy, solid footwear. One note: If your child has very wide heels, the back edge turns up a bit all around, creating a hard ridge, but the average child's heel will fit in the footbed with no problem. I don't expect the cork sole to last more than a season or two, but a kid will outgrow these before the cork gives out.And these shoes have arch support! In a kid's shoe! Well made, no missed seams or glue drips. My new go-to brown Earth mama sandal. Highly recommend.
