There is plenty of room in the calf but the shoe itself runs small. It's not as wide or long as a normal size 12. Also, the shape of the foot is off. Overall, it doesn't fit right. I ended up returning them and buying them on Shein. Definitely size up!
Poor quality, I was really excited to used them for the holidays but one of the boots were torn from the zipper.
