I have worn these as my everyday, all day, shoes for two weeks while camping; here is what you need to know.These shoes are one piece; no tongue. The whole shoe is made of up an elastic type material and the laces (elastic also) are threaded through holes but don't need to be tightened or tied if you don't want to. The tongue is all part of the upper shoe and you can simply slide your foot in, then tuck a finger in at the heel point to pull the shoe over your heel and viola you are in the shoes.The sole of the shoe is surprisingly sturdy considering how inexpensive (not 'cheaply' made, but not high end either) the whole shoe is. With the wider support of the sole, fashioned like a sports shoe, my foot doesn't slide around much.With the shoe being made of elastic material and not having the stronger stiffer structure most sports shoes have I expected problems wearing it. I expected to have my foot slide around inside the shoe but I don't have that problem.The toe cap is huge so if that is a concern these will work for you. The elastic material makes the shoe seem larger and you may wish to order a half size smaller, but the length is correct so be careful in that.I put in an insole and tightened the elastic 'laces' so the shoe feels tighter and less sloppy large.Overall I am pretty happy with the shoes. I do like the idea of one solid color for sports shoes instead of crazy contrasting colors that don't match anything but jeans.***editing to add; these collect small stones and sticks in the tread. When you go indoors you will want to wipe carefully, with a brush if you can to remove all the stones and twigs before they scratch your floor or just follow you inside.My only beef with the shoes is the lack of any heat retention in the shoes; these are not suitable for cooler temperatures. My toes and my feet freeze in these if the temps drop into the 50's. Great for summer and warmer temps but for cooler weather you will want different shoes. There is zero water resistance for these.

Comfortable and light weight
These sneakers are exactly what I needed for our indoor exercise bike. They’re really lightweight with a thin fabric on top, super comfortable and not clunky. The soles are nice and grippy, so they work perfectly with the bike pedals. Overall, I feel like they're a comfy, simple pair of shoes!

Comfortable, very lightweight, mesh shoes. Pretty green color.
This pair of mesh sneakers are very lightweight. I have flip flops that weigh more than these do! They are well made with a mesh, breathable upper and an ethylene vinyl acetate sole. That type of sole helps to make them lightweight, but I have learned that it makes walking feel like you're walking on clouds. I have some other shoes with that sole material, because I know how comfortable they are,so that was my main reason for getting this pair. I did think when I ordered them that they were the no-tie type, but they aren't, and I'm okay with that. Actually it worked out better for me as I could adjust the fit then. They do have a sole insert inside them, but it's on the thin side. I did not feel much for arch support either, so I will get a better insert for them that has more support. The mesh uppers have a good amount of stretch so they are quite easy to slip them on and go, even when the laces are tied.I ordered these in a size 9.5. My regular shoe size is size 9 and I have slightly wide feet. The fit of these shoes is roomy for me, even with a pair of wool socks that I had on for taking the photos. That is where being able to adjust and tie the laces came in handy for me and it helped take up some of the sloppy feel from them being a half size larger than my normal. I would have ordered a 9, but that size was not available in the size offerings. I really like the dark green color. It's bright and fun to have a pair of shoes in this color.This pair of mesh sneakers are good quality for a lightweight shoe and I will recommend them. While I will not be using them for running, I will be doing a good amount of walking in them, and I know they are super comfy for that purpose. The current price (9-16-2025) of $19.99 is a good value for these sneakers, in my opinion. The reason for my 4 star rating is the limited arch support, but I would purchase these again.
