One of the standards in tactical high-speed boots

Excellent tactical hiking boot. Coming from Solomon Quest 4D Force 2, the Zephyrs provide the same fit, stability, waterproofing and durability. However, the zephyrs have the benefit of being far lighter than Solomons. The zephyrs are slightly less grippy on smooth wet surfaces than the Solomon’s, but is not to a problematic extent. If anything, the harder/slipperier rubber on the zephyrs is beneficial for durability off-trail. Additionally, these boots can be re-soled, meaning once the tread wears down, you can keep the fitted/broken-in uppers and have a refurbished, comfortable boot. Better and cheaper than replacing the whole thing.

Excellent product, like they used to make them. Lowa had a period where they made sub par products, decided to give them a chance after 10 years, glad I did. They run a tad small, particularly in width.
