Based on the price point, I knew these boots probably weren't real leather, but they are still flimsier than I expected. More than that, the tops aren't fitted at all, giving them a pirate vibe that I don't like at all. I suppose if you're the type to tuck pants into your boots (I'm not), they would be good for that. These fit true to size.

Wide calf boots

These are cute boots and they are definitely for wide calves. I wear a size 9M and these run true to size. They are just extra wide in the calf. I have about two inches of extra space at the top which isn't really the look I wanted. I somehow missed all the pictures that show how much space is in the tops of these boots. Maybe the page didn't fully load...I'm not sure. So just note these are very wide calf boots. They feel like galoshes on me. If you want that really loose look or need a much wider calf fit, these are great quality and I would definitely recommend them. I won't knock any stars for what was probably my oversight. They look amazing out of the box. Unfortunately, I don't think they're my style when they're on.
