THE black winter boots! Durable with a sleek pointed toe
These knee high boots are versatile and great quality. I really am a fan of the pointed toe; and very satisfied with the fit of the 9.5 size! I wear size 9-10 depending on brand of shoe. These gave the perfect amount of space between the narrow point of shoes toes and where my toes slide into them. The heel is quite high, higher than I typically go for - but they make a statement if want- and are surprisingly comfortable even being so high! 3.5”-4” high is how measured the heel on these - and 4” is from where the groove starts for the heel and seam as can see from the photo / 3.5” is from the inner part of heel to the bottom. These can look very classy with a long jacket and cold weather attire. They also can be worn with costumes galore, out clubbing or with an alluring date outfit to show off your legs! The boots are a little wide so they give room to wear layers with them- but still give a very sleek and flattering look. The outer material is faux leather (I truly hope as it’s described to not be real leather) - and it does not have a strong smell; just that newness scent. The material on the inner layer of the boots is very smooth and slightly cushioned! You could wear these pretty comfortably without socks or stockings. The height may take getting used to, but it’s more sturdy walking in these with the wide heel support than heels that have narrow pointed back heels. There are grips on the bottom of the boots for added friction support too. These are essential black bootsFor colder months and still making a fashion statement or feeling flirty! They really could work for Fall weather too, and are stunning for parties. Most importantly, my cats approve.

So I have mixed feelings about these boots. Obviously I decided to keep them as I received so many compliments on them when I wore them out.Pros:These boots are very stylish.They look amazing with jeans or a dress.The color is beautiful and consistent throughout the boot.I have "normal" size calfs so these fit very well. Not too big and not too tight.Cons:These shoes hurt my feet after walking consistently in them for 10-15 minutes through Costco. My foot slid towards the toe of the boot and felt as though it was rubbing the bottom of my toes wrong. I decided to keep them and will add the rubber toe slip at that part of the boot to make these boots more comfortable.Overall, I think the boots are probably par for the course for shoes in this price range. I learned long ago that ypou get what you pay for in most instances and this one has proven that true.
